Absolutely everything! We weren't expecting much for the last night of our USA road trip, before we flew home from Miami, but it turned out to be our favourite overnight stay. 5 Pelican was like brand new, spotlessly clean with every facility you could think of. As a group of 2 couples, the restrooms just across the way, as well as our private bathroom, were very convenient for us too. The outlook and views all around were spectacular, especially for the boats and wildlife. The swimming pool was lovely and a lovely surprise was that the kayaks, paddle boards and bicycles were also freely at our disposal. The lady in the office was so lovely, welcoming and helpful. Stores and eateries were a short drive away and a shout out to JJ's Doghouse, a locals bar that we had a great couple of hours in!

What an amazing place to stay - the views across the lake were beautiful. The location is great and near to a number of beaches / shops / restaurants. The staff were very helpful and everything was well organised. Would happily visit again!

There was no swimmable beach on the property and we didn’t realize it when we made the reservation.

It was super clean, lots of extra bathrooms, Adirondack chairs everywhere for sitting and relaxing. The houseboat was decorated beautifully and the air conditioning worked great.

lol, got locked out of the car, but that happens…we enjoyed all the tours, and Marathon was central for us..

We loved the little house boat…nice beds. Only 3 of us, one on the couch. I enjoyed sitting on the patio….those giant lizards were something else..lol. I thought more things would be with in walking distance, but we had a car. We left a day early, just to be safe incase it rained…wish we could have gotten a refund .

Really everything was great. There is a bed in the hall way but every time we enter the bathroom I woke up my son. . My suggestion is to maybe add a curtain to give that bed some privacy. But over all excellent property.

Parking a second car in an open sand lot cost 20. per day. This is not in the description and we were told 20. not per day. Pictures make the houseboats look bigger than they are. Make sure you don’t have privacy issues.

It was perfect for a big group of boys scouts staying for a night. Clean rooms , felt like a fun adventure staying in a house boat. Much better than I expected

The beds are not that comfortable but it is an RV on the water so I wasn’t expecting it to be.

The quiet and peaceful atmosphere. It is next to the airport but it didn’t bother us at all.

Paying for ice the property charges $3 for a bag of ice. It would be nice to have some bottle waters provided in the fridge.

The back deck was fun to look at fish and relax. The loft up top my son loved to climb up there and play.

Great location right on an estuary in the middle of Marathon Key. Convenient to everything. We loved the place. We arrived late but called a head of time, we were given explicit directions on how to enter our house boat which was immaculate. The property was expertly maintained. The onside boat rental was quick and easy. The staff was helpful, friendly and accommodating.
