It's location is perfect, and the hosts were friendly and attentive. We loved feeding the horses carrots and watching sunsets. The bed is very comfortable. The grounds are gorgeous. We plan to return soon!

The bed is very soft and could be a problem for someone needing a firmer mattress.

This is a charming inn surrounded by fenced acreage and having a large backyard. There is a deck outside the room where you can sit and enjoy the ambiance. The room is well appointed with frig, microwave/toaster, coffee maker and snacks. The room is spotless. There is easy access to the freeway, amenities, Ashland, and wineries. There is some traffic noise that carries from freeway, but it is not discernible when window is closed (room has AC). The owner is friendly, helpful, and accommodating. This is an excellent choice, and we would not hesitate to return.

Lisa was a wonderful host, and the room and amenities were lovely. We particularly enjoyed our complimentary dried apple slices and an early morning hot tub, relaxing with the view.

The only thing is my body can't seem to handle super soft cushy mattresses anymore. I kept sinking in like I was in a hammock. I thought it was just last time with my husband complaining about it being too soft and we ended up sleeping across the bed vs laying on it like you are supposed to..lol. Oh well, I'd rather have too soft than too hard of a mattress I guess for this tired bod. Mattresses are the ultimate challenge for any person as it is a personal preference. I know that next time if my hubby makes the I-5 run with me, I will contact Lisa direct to see if there have been any mattress updates ;)

This has got to be my 4th stay I believe. The hosts are always wonderful and accommodating. I ran into an issue with my arrival time and reached out to Lisa to see if she could help me out. She was such a gem through the entire process of my personal debacle. Privacy, security, and cleanliness always wins at Applinger Farm Suite. Each season brings a new treat and it is fun to see what goodie will be left for the guests. Upon arrival it was a hot day and a little warm in the room as it is tied to the main house. I sent Lisa a little text and she responded immediately and made the temperature adjustment so I could cool down. After the long drive, that shower is always a welcome reprieve (wish I brought my bathing suit for the SPA that was working and ready to soak my aching muscles, oh well next time!)

The only drawback was the mattress. It was so soft you sank into it, and I do mean sank! It killed my back and it was hard to get out of the bed.

It had everything you could ask for. From comfy robes to spa towels. The decor was very cute! The hosts were both very kind. Everything, and I mean everything you could want or need was anticipated and it was amazing!!

Lisa and John were extremely friendly and welcoming. John took time to show us around the property and answered questions about the plants. Brought us carrots to feed the horses. Room is well appointed with thoughtful details. Beautiful property and people. Calm, peaceful. Very close to Ashland. Would have booked another stay on our return trip but the room was already booked up.

I truly cannot add to this section. It is a much better place to stay than the average hotel room.

I found the cottage very pleasant to stay. The decor made the cottage feel cozy and calm. It was lovely to watch the sunrise from the comforts of the bed through the glass doors on the wall across from the bed. Seeing the horses on the property was fantastic. Lisa is very welcoming as I arrived. She has a few snacks in the room and a little baggie of treats for your dog(s). My dog loved it here. I definitely would stay again when passing through Ashland.

Wonderful place with a spa at 104F, ready to relax you after a long drive. Cozy bed and warm heater with lots of streaming tv services and some popcorn to boot. Private parking with access to a large backyard where you will be greated by friendly horses. Right off the 5, quiet, and close to restaurants. Have staid twice, plan on a lot more...
