Road noise is a little loud, but we were enjoying the weather and so had the windows open. If they had been closed, we probably wouldn't have noticed the traffic noise as much.

Exceptionally lovely home and absolutely delicious breakfast. Our host was a delight to speak with and spent a lot of her time visiting with us. Could not recommend this home more enthusiastically!

This was our third stay at Helen's house, and that says a lot about how much we like it. It feels like home. The breakfast was, as usual, very hearty, and the bed was clean and comfortable. The British-themed atmosphere is inviting. She likes our dog, which appeals to us the most; it's not easy to find a dog-friendly B&B. We hope to stay there next time we go to Maine. This B&B is very conveniently located, right in the middle of the way to Acadia NP from Maryland. Thank you, Helen.

Extraordinarily kind host, who also leaves you alone. She shows you in, then you're in extreme privacy, since the host has separate living quarters. At most there is one other room to be occupied, but each has its own bathroom! Host is so sweet, the breakfast is delicious. I have stayed here 3 times now!

Helen, the proprietor, is from England, and she cleverly decorated the entire bed and breakfast in a quintessential English royalty theme. The room in which we stayed was the Queen Elizabeth room. It was perfectly appointed with memorabilia from HRH’s reign. In addition, it was super comfortable with a lovely en-suite bathroom and in-room mini fridge! Helen served a delicious, fully traditional English breakfast, too! It was truly a wonderful stay! Chatting with Helen was a delight; she is a consummate hostess!

The owner, Helen, was so fun! She is very British and the decor reflects her love of all things England. We’ve stayed at a lot of B and Bs and Helen wins as our favorite hostess! Loved the setting, the comfy beds, the delicious breakfast, the thoughtful touches such as mints on our bed, the list could go on. We didn’t meet Helen’s husband but his amazing art is all over the house. Such a lovely home with so many interesting displays and collections.
