That there wasn't a pool when it was advertised on Booking. com that there WAS a pool. Very misleading.

    Property response:

We want to clarify that the property does have a soaking pool, and there is a clear picture of it on our listing site. We’re sorry if this wasn’t immediately obvious, and we appreciate you bringing it to our attention so we can ensure the listing is as clear as possible for future guests. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any other questions!

I knew I would be stunned by the vitality of the aesthetic. I didn’t account for the warmth and care built into every detail. Lovely.

    Everything was absolutely perfect.

This is the most amazing home I have ever had the privilege to stay in. It's beautiful, cozy, and has every amenity you could think of, but that's not why you should stay here! This is a true artist's home and work of art in itself. The setting is breathtaking. Incredible views everywhere. Checking out the Planar Pavilions is a fun adventure, especially right after dawn when the light is magical and it's not too hot. The space right around the house is full of amazing plants and wildlife. I saw lots of hummingbirds, lizards, and a roadrunner. I loved journaling on the outdoor bed in the mornings. The work space was perfect for my personal writing retreat. The work room is technically not air conditioned but the mini-split right next to it in the kitchen kept it cool enough for it to be a pleasant place to work all day even in the summer heat. The bedroom is really comfortable. I slept really well. The shower has great pressure. The hosts have placed an amazing luxury dog bed in there that my dog was obsessed with. This was a really dog-friendly stay. Incredible selection of books in the home. Amazing kitchen. Again, though, the best part was all the surprises and discoveries in and around the house, including how fun it was to hang some of my own things on the 'vertical accumulators' in the bedroom and place others on the cool artist-made shelving in the dining area. Lots of amazing, interesting plants in and around the house that I had fun identifying with my phone. I took so many pictures of everything else because it's all so aesthetic, thought-provoking, and fascinating. An art-lover's paradise. I hope I get the chance to stay here again! One of my favorite places I've ever been!!

Only thing I wished I had but didn't was a microwave! I assume the hosts will add one eventually.
