The pool on the rooftop was always too crowded but overall, it's expected when you're staying in a hotel during high season in a hot spot.

The hotel's perfectly located on Sunset Blvd, in the heart of West Hollywood - google it's history for hosting all the celebrities too! Everything is around you, you can walk and explore and you're short distance to Beverly Hills and Bel Air. The room (and bathroom) were spacious, very clean and comfortable. Whenever you call the reception for anything, they immediately support you with it which makes the stay even better.

Andaz, as a brand, seems to have an inconsistent product in different markets. This one was nice but a bit more like an upscale Marriot than the trendy, boutique hotel vibe some other Andaz's have. Free snacks in the lobby are a good idea but maybe should upgrade the selection from nature valley cereal bars and lays chips. Gym is small but well equipped but a couple of big, bulky, shirtless men grunting away was unusual for a hotel gym.

Comfortable beds Peloton in the Gym Windows overlooking the city GoodCoffee in the lobby Great for a short stay and cheaper than the more expensive hotels in the neighbouhood.

The fact that they opened the pool to resort day pass is really bad, it used to be much classier and less crowded. Don’t like that at all, the customers of the hotel pay for that exclusivity and you don’y get it anymore.

Carpets are a little tired in the rooms and could do with being replaced. Mine was particularly grubby looking with stains and things trodden in.

The staff are really friendly and helpful, the hotel is well placed, good entrance where cars and cabs can pull up outside easily, restaurant is good.

The lighting in the room could have been better. The room needs some updating to provide conveniently located outlets that are suited to protect electronic charging. Sunset Blvd. can get a little noisy from cars and motorcycles, but the hotel provided ear plugs in the room, if you wanted them.

The hotel's part in rock history was interesting to find out about during our stay and the rock theme throughout was enjoyable. The view from the room (penthouse/14th floor) was spectacular. The room was spacious and had a large bathroom. The Riot House breakfasts had good options and generous portions. Coffee and snacks are available 24 hours in the lobby. Very friendly staff.

It's time for an upgrade, the restaurant needs an overhaul and the fact that visitors are allowed in at weekends to use the pool, thus not leaving enough for paying guests

Breakfast organisation - poor. You have to wait for the table, because all tables were occupied. There was no buffet, so ordering food took forever. We have asked valet parking person to prepare our car in advance as we were leaving at night, but he didn't fulfil our request unfortunately.

Parking prices were ridiculous. $70 a day was too much. Staff at the restaurant were not as good as the hotel. They may need some further training. I had a lot of issues with the television in the room.. It took a couple of days to get it resolved but I am glad they finally did.

Staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. Their customer service was great.

The staff were not as welcoming as I had expected. There is also not any staff at the roof top pool. It’s not a large space and from early in the morning people (guests?) were holding pool chairs

Restaurant food and parking prices were very high, but that’s typical in LA.

The location is great. It was easy to get to other things we wanted to do in LA. I loved having the view of the Hollywood Hills from our room. The staff members were friendly and helpful at all times. The room was clean and quiet. I liked being able to get the car in and out of the valet parking as needed.

-Valet is expensive (around 65USD daily) but it is more or less the same at every hotel in LA, unfortunately..

-Location is central and you can walk along in the Sunset Strip; Ubers to the other popular WeHo places are around 15USD one way. -BREAKFAST WAS TO DIE FOR! I would like to specially thank the staff at the restaurant (Jose in particular). -Rooftop pool was small but the sun-beds were the comfiest I have ever seen! -There are always free snacks at the lobby!! They are all quality stuff!! -You have free wine-o'clock between 4-5pm -Complimentary coffee in the mornings
