How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The fact that booking.com does not inform you of any deposit details made this trip very unpleasant. I had to miss two hours of work because the deposit was not in my budget and i had to spend time figuring how to come up with the new deposit to continue my stay . Instead of going to work and making money.Must unenjoyable

The weekend did have some idiots running in and out of their rooms like maniacs one night (probably fiends).
The room was quiet most of time, especially during the week.

Noisy boneheads show up closer to the weekend.
The staff was helpful and friendly. The beds were comfortable and the rooms had good accommodations.

Room door didn't open easily due possible build up of paint. Bathroom renovation was of poor quality. Bathroom door off hinge and didn't close prays if ki ked in recently. No anti-slip in tub. When you moved on the bed, the frame made a hollow metal sound.
The location was good. The staff helpful. Mattresses were comfortable.

Thought the floor was a bit dirty. I had to clean up something off the floor with a paper towel, and the towel was brown.
The room was adequate for an overnight stay with our two dogs. Nothing fancy, and met our expectations for the low price.

The room was very simple and overlooking the parking lot but I arrived late and just needed to crush from 11.30pm-8 am.
Close to the airport and I was picked up form the airport by the staff member, plus taken back in the morning.

My room was terrible. The front of the sink was missing. The tub was peeling. It was passable clean but the condition of the room was terrible. The comforter was in bad shape. The chase lounge was worn and stained. Definitely needs have better upkeep.
The location was good. Plenty of restaurants around the hotel.

There were a few holes in the bedspread but I honestly didn’t mind because the room was clean and the price was so low.
It was close to the airport and had a courtesy airport shuttle. The property was clean and very well lit inside and out. It also had a complementary breakfast with a variety of items. There was a good size refrigerator and a microwave in the room and complimentary water available in the lobby. The staff was helpful and it was only a 10 minute ride to downtown Wichita. The best part was that the price was extremely good!!

Had to pay a fee to leave vehicle in parking lot and when we checked in and asked about a shuttle the lady desk clerk said nothing about a fee so that was upsetting

This Super 8 along with one we stayed in in Hutchinson KS earlier in the week are looking very rough. A little paint and inexpensive repairs would go a long way to making these hotels look good.
It was pretty clean but the 1st room we were in the TV electronics were exposed behind the TV and it didn't work so they moved us to another room where the electronics were still exposed but it worked. This did waste time we needed to unwind. The employees on duty at night and in the morning were very helpful.

The only thing I found that I really didn't much like was the bed spread had a few cigarette burns in it. It should have been thrown away.
The breakfast was good, coffee was great! It was a great location. Great value. The room was good.

It was clean nice but had a smell stuck to the carpet. The breakfast wasn’t much.
The bathroom, I pack bleach with me and use it to wipe down the white rag actually came back clean.
