The smell in the hallway was absolutely awful, it was a cross between sewage and cigarettes. Bed sheets and blankets were not fresh. I drove to the store for lysol. One bed had dog hair on it. The flood in room was dirty you could hear the grit when you walked. I used two towels after we showered to clean the floor, didn’t do much but turn the towels black. Tried to get some fresh air opening the window but there wasn’t a screen. One of the lights in the ceiling flickered nonstop. I booked the room for two nights and was planning a return trip the following week… we checked out and made arrangements at another hotel.

Location was good… right off the exit and a short drive to the race track. Outside appearance and lobby was decent. Good size parking lot.

When we pulled in the place was like a ghost town,maybe two cars in the lot. The one and only staff member eventually came out to meet us after ringing the bell on the counter multiple times. She was not friendly in any way. Acted like we were a bother to her. The lobby and hallways were very dimly lit or almost dark in spots. A vacuum had not been run in the halls for sometime and even though signs posted for no smoking it stunk of smoke smell,even inside the non-smoking room. The room itself was ok,it seemed sufficiently clean,except for the hair in the shower. The TV did not work well,kept cutting out and freezing and not all the channels worked. The hot water was dangerous. Hot enough to scald you. The bed was the worst,very hard and noisy. The pillows were to small for a king size bed,flat and stained. There wasn't even coffee provided the next morning although I guess by that point I'd be afraid to even try it if it was there. Advertised as having breakfast. No

The location was great in relation to the event we were attending. The price was right. Those are the only good things I can say about it.

Front door handle broken. Lobby drain cover loose. Lobby very dark. Hall dark, smelled. Room smelled worse, like a nursing home. Except for soap, no toiletries, tissues or napkins. Bathtub and shower curtain scuzzy. Ripped sheet.

Motel was close to our destination. A couple of staff we met were pleasant.

I've never in my life seen such a small shower. There wasn't a water cup or any other sort of utensil. There was no coffee facility, either in room or in the lobby. The nearest place for food of any sort was several miles away. There was one uncomfortable chair. Light controlled by the switch inside the door didn't work.

Location was OK. Bed was comfortable.

I didn’t like that the bed was super hard . Also the shower head was molded out really bad ! The water is touching that before it hits us smh ! And the AC didn’t have a cover just a big black hole with air coming out

The facilities (hallways, etc.) were very outdated and smelled of stale smoke. There is no concierge at the desk 80% of the time.

The location was very convenient and rooms were updated, though beds were very uncomfortable. Liked that pets are welcome.

No one was at the desk when we checked out so I could not tell someone that the toilet seat was broken, the bathroom sink was teetering on the pedestal, there were no tissues or cups in the room. Breakfast was not offered even thought the website says there is breakfast. The bathroom is tiny. This place needs a major renovation.

The Hotel is a mile or so from town. The heater worked. The staff that we saw were nice.

There was an issue with everything: it was noisy at night, the mattress was very uncomfortable, the room smelled, the TV didn't work, there was a lamp with a blown bulb, the toilet rocked back and forth when you sat on it.

The location was fine for proximity to our event.

The beddings were not neat and no breakfast was available. No ready access to taxi service. You need to have an american number so that you can call for Uber services.

The closeness to Putnam downtown. It was easy to get Putnam Science Academy and Walmart.

No soap or shampoo the lights would flicker had to call there was no one at the desk even rang the bell for 10 minutes the hall carpets were disgusting holes in the walls mold on the air handler when she finally showed up she was rather rude. I would not recommend this place to anyone

When I asked the owner where I could get a cup of coffee she told me to go up one exit the turnpike. There was no chain "for my protection."

Not a single advertised amenity was provided. The owners sent a carefully timed email saying no breakfast was available because of COVID ... timed so customers couldn't use the cancelation policy, No coffee maker in the room. Main light switch covered with duct tape. No Do Not Disturb tag. Not even a box of Kleenex in a room that smelled so moldy I could barely sleep. You'll sleep better in your car.

The room smelled old. I bought a can of Lysol air freshener. I had to have someone make my dead bolt operational, slime inside the shower curtain. I don't know how the health department let this pass inspection. This used to ve a nice place to stay. I would not recommend it. The hallways were filthy. People had big dogs in their rooms, telephone did not work. I'm sorry I stayed.

The owner of the property is why I won't be staying there again. Someone broke into my room while I was gone and I was blamed for it and to top it off he kicked me out kept the money. They even have cameras, now I question if those even work. I called corporate and because it's a franchise, corporate has 0 say in this matter. I'm my opinion that's the type of person I would give my money to.

Where to start. Check-in was easy and quick. We were a little put off that the office isn't connected to the hotel, and you have to walk across the parking lot. Not a big deal though. We were told there was no smoking upon check-in. We walked to our room and were met with several people smoking in and outside of the hotel. The hallway reeked of cigarette smoke. We weren't made aware that it was being used as a residence until someone spoke up and said he's been there for 8 months. We went inside and the room was "updated" for a Motel 6 but very small. We sat down on the bed and you could feel and hear every spring in the mattress. It was the cheapest and most uncomfortable mattress I have ever slept on. If we had our camping cots, we would have brought those in. The mattress foundation was equivalent to a slab in the morgue. Just a flat sheet of metal that bowed with every turn. We've stayed in many motels through Booking for less thsn we paid here and they were never like this. We didn't bother complaining at first because it was one night and we wouldn't be in it for long however the exorbitant cost of $140+ taxes and fees ($161) for the area was too much. This was not acceptable and not worth the price. The room had no toiletries other than two small bars of soap. No hairdryer, no ironing board or iron. Paint was chipped on the doors and there were visible stains on the mattress pad. The hot water is extremely hot to the point of scalding. We heard people outside the room at all hours. People stomped up and down the stairs. We got back to our room at 1am and didn't want to wake the manager, so we decided to discuss our concerns later that morning. My husband went to speak to the manager upon check out hoping for at least half off due to the rooms condition and were met with extreme hostility to which point my husband said the room was "f*cking trash" and he was kicked out for swearing.

There were no lamps 0 atmosphere. A bit of a smell. Usually a good stay at motel 6 locations. This place is not worth the price. Outdated and half of a toilet paper holder. This place is about as run down as can be and shouldn’t be called motel 6. I tolerated it and my wife was utterly disgusted.

The toilet paper holder was broken off the wall, and the toilet bowl had a ring in it (not recently washed). The room could use two beside lamps, as the ceiling lighting was a bit too much

There wa no breakfast on site (we knew in advance) but the Manager suggested the nearby Bread & Breakfast cafe which was excellent. The room itself seemed very clean, if not over-lighted.

The sheets were never changed from the last guests prior to my arrival. There were no sheets at all on the maids cart in the hall so I think that’s standard procedure The fan in bathroom had beyond a layer dust more like fur covering it. There was a cornucopia of various body hair covering fixtures in the bathroom
