Even though I booked online and included traveling with a pet once I got there they said it placed me in a room that doesn’t allow pets so instead of just changing rooms they cancelled my online booking and it ended up costing me $30 more than my online booking. The room had a nice view however it was small and the beds took up pretty much the whole room. The beds were uncomfortable and there was an odd smell. The pool closes in late august which they should include on their website. For the price I ended up paying I should have went to the place up the road that actually had a pool and spa for $10 more. This place was more like a cheap motel at expensive resort price.

The view. The host was nice and accommodating. Since the pool was closed she offered a guest pass to a pool in town. We have two dogs but she said she only charged us for one.

Low budget amenities for an expensive rate. Room was definitely not vacuumed, no coffee cups in the room to make coffee from the provided coffee maker, bathroom towels were flimsy and toiletries skimpy. Super 8 feel for a high rate.

I feel like it was a bait and switch situation because the pictures of the room I booked showed a spa tub in the room and a swim pool the room we got didn't have anything like that. The web site said free breakfast and it was cereal and yogurt and mini muffins which is ok I guess but not what I expected for as much as I paid. The pool was unusable but the owner got a hot tub up and running for us to relax in for a little bit which was nice but again was really wanting a pool and a spa tub for the price we paid and the building definitely needs work but all in all it was pretty quiet and no one bothered us.

The owners were amazing we absolutely loved them!

Sadly, if a good investor were to invest some money into upgrading, promotion, opening the restaurant, pool, etc, it would be a really great place.

Everything. They messed up on our rooms and put us into a different room. Then they messed up and didn't realize that they put us in the other room and had the worker walk into our room while we were in there. Also there was no swimming pool or hot tub access. Poor service all the way around. Never going here again

The facility was huge, and 9/10 empty. Mold in the bathroom, cobwebs in the ceiling, stains on the bedding, tears in the towels. There was a gap all the way around our door, letting in light & who knows what else. The restaurant was closed, the pool and hot Rob were not clean or working. This facility has great potential - 3/4 needs to be closed down while the other 1/4 is renovated. Needs a total remodel. The grounds need cleaning up - lounge chairs, benches & picnic tables would afford guests the use of the great outdoor space. Our room had a spongy spot in one corner, under the worn-out carpet, it had 2 queen beds crammed in an area that would fit one comfortably, no where to relax comfortably. Had a patio door to the outside, but no chairs to sit on. No air conditioner & the room smelled funky - old, stale & smoked in. The refrigerator had one temperature - freeze. The microwave was dirty. Even though the facility was empty, we had to ask for a room with a view. When using the bathroom sink, the water drained all over the floor for some reason. I do have to say the staff was helpful, and moved us to a downstairs room. Unless there was a serious renovation, I would rather stay home than stay here. But again, this facility has great potential if the owners were willing to go to the plate and invest some time and money into it.

Heater in our room didn't work. Our other rooms sliding glass door had a rock and a pvc pipe holding it shut. Their toilet quit working after the first flush but being a plumber by trade it was an easy fix.

There wasn't any breakfast the pool and restaurant were both shut down when we arrived and went to the room it hadn't been cleaned and the toilet was lose and shower head barely put any water out and the room was still gross after they supposedly cleaned it the second time.

This place is not a resort. It's barely a hotel. Think 1/2 star above a motel. They have a small pool which is green so nobody can use (come on), and a restaurant which was "closed for renovation" never mentioned during booking and not even disclosed on their website, just a paper sign on the door. Even though we were just crashing for the night, if we knew these we would not have stayed here. After driving the whole day sightseeing, we had to get back in the car at 9:30pm and drive another 15-20 minutes north to try to find a restaurant that was still open. Luckily there were a couple of places still serving guests in the next town so we picked one, but we were lucky. There was a pizza place not far from the hotel but already closed. Hotel was next to a cute little beach (an inlet, not the ocean side) but not worth what we paid to stay here. No breakfast options either. The coffee in the lobby was the only perk, but it's just the most basic you can think of. Next time we'll stay in Newport or another town instead.

Since it is on the bay, I would of liked to see some sort of entrance on to the beach area so it is easier to go walking on the sand. I would of liked a better view looking out of our window in our room.

Facility was a little "tired" but quite adequate for the price. I arrived on a holiday weekend and while my confirmation email from booking.com had correct dates, hotel said I wasn't booked until next day. But they graciously made it right. Owners were on site and were personable and welcoming. Breakfast muffins weren't great but that's the harshest thing I can say...
