Only thing l could think of would be to add a towel rack in the bathrooms.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. Full size tubs had great water pressure. Toilets flushed very well. Location was as convenient as could be, everything was very close, restaurants and stores could be walked to. Best value by far to any competiters. Highly recommend.

The downside of the experience was the loudness of the heating unit. There were 3 couples in our group. All noted that the heaters were effective but loud. One couple had to turn theirs off in order to get a restful sleep.

We didn't use take breakfast. The room and bathroom were about what we expected. We were looking for a motel close to the Alma College campus and this was good.

Close to hospital. We live over an hour away & to be there at 6am for surgery. Very convenient.

Maybe a few more toiletries, but the room wasn't lacking for anything. Internet was a little sketchy at times, but resolved itself quickly. No major issues with anything.

Breakfast consists of two dry cereals & coffee. I always bring my own, but at least it's available. I have stayed at the Alma Motel, on & off, for over ten years. The rooms are clean & quiet, & the staff is always hospitable; they will do their best to accommodate any special requests. The location is central to many walkable places, & it's right off the highway. Can't beat the value for a few nite's stay. I will continue to choose the Alma Motel over higher priced options every time.

They advertise breakfast. There were three types of cereal. The coffee was horrible and there was only real sugar and dairy creamer offered as condiments.. Not even one choice.

Location was perfect. Alma, MI is very small. We were coming to move into the Alma College residence halls. Alma Motel is perfectly located to do that. The owners are nice. The breakfast is minimal. Fruit Loops and wheaties-type cereals. Coffee and tea. Sugar, no sweeteners. But there are several fast food places with breakfast within walking distance. The room was a good size. Two double beds. The fridge was adequate. The freezer was not. The beds were very comfortable, and I rarely sleep week the first night! I last very well here. That was unexpected and well appreciated! It was quiet as well. The shower was adequate. I think Michigan may not require conditioner, so be aware there is shampoo and soap only. The towels are rough.

After biking and dinner, we wanted to sit outside to enjoy the beautiful night and there just wasn’t enough outside patio chairs. So we ended up pulling some of the chairs from the room outside. It was no biggie but it seems like each room should have a couple chairs.

Andy and Donna worked so well with our group of biking friends to make sure we were all happy!

I wasn't able to eat breakfast here as I have food allergies and there were no options for me. I would just include a little more, perhaps some hard-boiled eggs and fruit. To be fair, I didn't go in for breakfast after the proprietor told me it was cereal and milk, and coffee. So, there may have been more, but that's all I was told about. It is nice that those things are offered for other people.

The room was very nice. The main room was updated with newer decor. It had very useful amenities such as a decent size small refrigerator and freezer and a microwave. There was a nice TV and, if needed, there were hookups for a computer. WiFi was fast and allowed me to get necessary work done. The bathroom was very cute with vintage tiles and formica counters. I also loved the vintage room keychain. The staff was extremely friendly.

Really wasn't anything I didn't like. It's a good price for a decent room.

No breakfast, but they told me I could come into the lobby in the morning for coffee. McDonald's is right next door, so no problem. Quiet, very clean motel. Friendly staff. Have stayed here before without any problems at all, and would stay here again.

Bed was very firm and breakfast was lackluster. The fan is attached to the light in the bathroom and it was quite loud and annoying.

Rooms were super clean, and a good size, staff was friendly, other guests were respectful, room had a real mini fridge with a separate freezer, lots of hot water, large parking lot with wide spaces perfect for loading and unloading your car. Can't beat the price!

The window of my rental car had been written-on with something white. I needed it cleaned before returning it. After checking out, I saw your cleaning crew at my room. I spun around back to the room, described the dilemma, and the gentleman used a rag and some cleaning supplies to completely remove the markings. Excellent, friendly, helpful, and unusual service. Kudos to him.

The breakfast was coffee and sugared cereal only. Not my choice - - just had the coffee. The room was clean and felt secure.

Definitly needed a coffee maker. Or have coffee in the office readily available. Even if it's instant. For those who arrive later and have to sleep past nine.. There is a McDonald's across the street but I like my morning coffee before I have to dress to start my day. Also booked for 3 people at a higher price but couldn't get the lower priced amount when it was just the two of us. 😒

I liked that we had the room separate in the back of the hotel. Beds were comfortable. Room was cleaned.
