The place was under construction and the lobby was blocked off . When we walked in to the desk area, we weren't even sure the hotel was opened because it looked so bad. The pool was closed and we were asked to keep out curtains closed in case there were workers outside. For how bad the place looked, I was surprised the room rate wasn't discounted. They did offer to cancel our reservation but after driving across the county we were too tired to get back in the car which is on us. Not what you expect when you book a Marriot. I would have booked somewhere else if I knew about the construction.

Bathroom small. Tub drained poorly. The carpet was stretched and rolling. Had to ask for a microwave. It was delivered timely. The phone was dirty. The turkey club was delicious and the bed comfy but not the flat pillows.

The facilities were tired, old, in desperate need of updating. We hear there is a big renovation coming next month..Nov 2024.

The room had paint chipping and was somewhat run down. I had breakfast included and was told I did not and had to show a screenshot of my reservation which showed breakfast was in fact included. Waitress was great!! The clincher was on top of paying $150, I had to pay a $10 parking fee. Where am I supposed to park in a city at night, the hotel also has a HUGE parking lot which was half empty. That was really a slap in the face.

It's just another mid-range businessman's hotel. Although I have a confirmed reservation with Booking.com, the hotel had no record of that. I had to put the room on my credit card, call Booking.com, wait while the support agent called the hotel, and then be told by the agent that my non-cancelation room would be canceled. I'm still waiting to see if the credit shows up on my account. As usual in hotel bathroom design, the lights over the sink are misplaced. In this case, the sink is to the left of the counter while the lights are centered. Consequently, if someone is putting on makeup or shaving, the left side of the face is in a shadow.

The age of the furniture, the fact that out of the last three times I stayed there were issues with the water twice. The ceilings don’t match and some rooms have holes in the false ceiling tiles. Each room has different odors depending on the animals that frequent them and it’s hard to air them out.

I love the idea of the pyramid, the amenities, location, all of it is exciting.

We had reservations for 7 rooms and the first room I was put in had not been cleaned at all. I called the front desk and they moved me down the hall into a clean room. The breakfast buffet is in no way worth $19.99. All together for 4 adults and 16 students we spent almost $600, despite their supposedly being a lower price for under 18's.

The property was well kept and very spacious and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The flavored water at checkin was very nice. The bed was super comfortable and the best I have had at a hotel
