Only complaint was bed was alittle squeaky but I still had an amazing night of sleep and felt comfy and relaxed

Beautiful homie but well loved place with delicate touches and lovely furnishings that make you feel at home . Was greeted upon arrival warmly and given all the information I could need very lovely and easy check in . Room is quaint with adorable details on the vanities and bedside tables making it feel like your staying at a guest room in a family home rather than an inn , the property was something out of a painting with access to the water , peddle boats, kayaks and other various activities offered it felt like a private piece of paradise . Anything we needed or had questions on were answered warmly and promptly and it was just an amazing experience! Breakfast time we were met with a lovely serve yourself coffee bar and a menu with some options for food me let me tell you how pleasantly surprised I was to the attention to detail on plating and appearance but most importantly taste you could taste the passion and effort that these lovely people have maintained this place with while looking over at the windows to see nothing but beauty and nature . As we checked out I popped into the kitchen to day my thank yous and see a beautiful scene of a hard working person doing their best to make everything inviting and the best experience for all thank you again we will be back!

The bed system had metal coils that squeaked every time I turned over.

The breakfast was very nice - made individually, not a buffet. The location on the lake was lovely and quiet. The staff and owner very friendly and accommodating. The inn itself is quaint and I am sure historic.

There wasn’t anything that we didn’t like about the property. But we did enjoy seeing the upgrades and improvements that were made since last year!

The location just can’t be beat! It’s a beautiful property right on the lake. It’s peaceful,quiet, with abundant wildlife. We saw eagles, ducks, deer, and loons. There are kayaks available to explore the lake with but early mornings on my paddleboard were magical. The women who own and care for this place go out of their way to make every visitor feel at home and happy. The big breakfasts are delicious! We look forward to coming back.

Some minor maintenance issues that didn’t affect my stay, but it didn’t look right. There was a rusty metal fence pole on the beach. There was a rotted post at the rear door that could be addressed with a little effort.

The rooms aren’t as sound proof as a larger/modernized facility but with the AC and tv on, you can hardly hear any noise outside or around the room. We lost hot water for a few hours but before we even brought it to their attention, an apology was given and they already had people on site fixing it.

We are locals and chose to stay here for 3 nights to celebrate our 20 year anniversary. The down-to-earth and warm greeting we received at check in immediately made us feel at home. Personally, I’m not a breakfast person but ate theirs every day of our stay because it was phenomenal. We also had an amazing hostess who you can tell really enjoys her job. The room was cozy, air conditioned, and had a really comfortable bed. One day, we asked if we could go pick up our kids to swim in the lake even though they weren’t staying with us and they encouraged it. They even asked if they’d like to use the floats they had on hand. It was a blast and the family friendly atmosphere is great. During our stay, we saw multiple deer, eagles, loons, ducks with babies, turtles laying eggs, and caught sun fish off of the little dock. Even though we didn’t use them, we loved that they had books and board games outside of the rooms for people to use. This place was a great reminder of the importance of taking time to slow down and enjoy the important things in life, like nature and uninterrupted conversations with the ones you love most!

Loved it all so nothing!

We adored the setting. The food was amazing, especially the breakfast. The staff was warm and friendly and we loved the many dogs around the place. We had a great time swimming and kayaking even after our check out time. I took information with me so I could recommend the place to friends and maybe even return.

ALL WAS PERFECT!!

Gorgeous view! The bed was soo comfortable and the room in general was super cozy! Loved the common area and the rocking chairs in the halls. The food was AMAZING!!! Breakfast was even better! The hospitality was the best part! Came once for a short honeymoon and it was so great we are making a tradition out of it to come back every so often.

The location on the lake is amazing. We absolutely loved the view. The owners and staff were exceptionally accommodating. The fire was so comforting after coming in from the cold. The home made bread and rolls were so delicious. We will definitely be back.
