Very close to Niagra falls, owner was lovely and welcoming, giving us advise on what to do and where to go, historic element to the stay was fascinating

The street felt unsafe to walk on, especially at night

We would definitely recommend Katherine's breakfast! It was delicious, presentation was fabulous, lovely dishes, the selection of different foods was unbelievable and the atmosphere very pleasant. Katherine really makes you feel special, like royalty. Her knowledge of the house was amazing and she also gives you good tips on places to go see. Bed was very comfortable, nice bedding, towels and robes. Price for staying at Aaron House compared to the chain hotels was in our budget and within walking distance of everything. We totally recommend staying there. Katherine is kind and loving. She really cares if you are enjoying your stay, thank you for that . 🥰

The only thing I would recommend some type of partition for the toilet in the attic suite. But it's really not to bad........ everyone has to poo. 😄

The house and the history were very interesting, breakfast was excellent, and it was only a short walk to the falls and the state park. All for a very affordable price.

The breakfast was amazing, Catherine was charming and had so much history of the area, the house was quirky and beautiful. We absolutely loved our experience and would definitely stay again.

No faults at all. Sure, the area was a bit poor, but I can't blame the house for that. The block we were on felt safe and charming.

Aaron House is a hidden gem nestled near the Niagara Falls. If you're looking for a usual and common accommodation, this is not the place for you. The hotel is a historic home, meticulously preserved in every detail, offering a truly unique experience. I personally loved the two nights I spent here, thanks to the passion of the owner who managed to immerse us in the spirit of this house museum. Special mention goes to the breakfast (incredible!!!) and the fragrant soaps in the numerous bathrooms. The attention to detail extended to every aspect of our stay, from the beautifully rooms to the thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. I highly recommend it!!!

The atmosphere, the look of the house. It's close to Nigeria falls. We walk to the falls.

The neighborhood was creepy. We didn't have our own showroom.

    Property response:

Thank you for leaving a review. Just clarifying that you initially booked the apartment suite with its private bathroom, but didn’t want to walk up the flight of stairs, so you downgraded yourselves to one of the smaller rooms with shared bathroom. This was done with your knowledge and was entirely your choice.

The location was exceptional for getting around Niagara Falls. The house itself is rather quirky and in that quite interesting.

I didn't like being cussed at by the staff when I said, "I currently don't know when I'll arrive until . . ." That's when the staff said, "Fuck you!" I said excuse me what was that? Then without an apology or acknowledging her faux paus, she said, I'm canceling your reservation due to non-compliance." I was also told to contact Booking.com, which I did and they handled the issùe.

The way the staff spoke to me.

It seemed like the price would have been great.

We never got to stay. Like so many other bad reviews have already stated, upon confirmation, they had a policy in a long list of rules that stated- if you'll be late, let us know. Then they acted like they couldn't accommodate us and were very rude about it. Decided not to stay.

    Property response:

You demanded to check in at 2:30 AM. We informed you on the day of your booking that our hours are four till 9 PM and advise you to contact booking.com. You decided to discontinue arguing with us as if that would change our hours of operation. Unfortunately, we do not have staff available at 2:30 AM, as you were repeatedly told. booking.com. I’ve been moving this with you, but we are responding so anyone seeing it will understand. Don’t get to book a bed-and-breakfast and then just demand your own terms unfortunately, it doesn’t work like that.

    Parking onsite included.

Check-in took 50 mins. The hostess seemed more interested in telling me what she wanted vs. what I was asking about as I was trying to orient myself upon check-in. The neighborhood was run down and noisy at night. Do NOT stay in the “family room”, i.e. the attic. It smelled very musty, and was dreary and dirty, and I’m pretty sure the nibling noise above the celing boards at night, and the animal running across the curtain behind the bed, which woke us up in the morning, were mice. (I doubt it would pass municipal inspection to be a vacation rental but that’s just my conjecture.) This isn’t a family room unless you like to shower and go to the toilet in front of your children or parents. There are no walls and it’s all in one space: bed, couch, toilet, shower. Property is not ADA accessible, if that’s important to you. I could only recommend ir if you’re looking for a scary experience, like for Halloween. We slept little and poorly.

The history of the property was fascinating. The location was really convenient, close to the attractions and amenities. Breakfast was well worth the extra.

Shared bathrooms, only 2 so if the accommodation is fully booked it might be inconvenient.
