Unclear about beach access path, though we figured it out quickly enough. Would’ve like a map or something, as we were conscious of passing through private property. Would have liked if the pet fee was in the listing. We’d assumed it was similar to comparable properties ($20-30 per night), so were surprised after booking to find it was $200 per stay, which seemed excessive for just 3 nights. We ended up not bringing our dog.

Impressive and unique vacation rental home building, excellent viewing deck with a very nice view of the shore! Stunning view of the sunset. Plenty of amenities and appliances (including in the pantry) for any length of stay. Nicely located between Lincoln City and Newport.

Super cozy and roomie for a group of friends and family! Love the wrap around deck and the spiral staircase! The decor is super cute. There was plenty of extra bedding with lots of pillows.

The stairs were a little challenging, both the interior circular stairs and carrying heavier stuff on the steep exterior stairs. Wouldn't recommend for folks with mobility issues. Main living area is upstairs. Also downstairs larger BR bed was uncomfortable. The TV didn't have the proper cord to watch DVDs, but we had brought one from home, remembering from last year. Finally, price point is a concern. We came both years in late spring to avoid the big spike during summer season, which we can't afford. We'll be back but on the shoulder seasons and as long as we are mobile. It really is a stunning house.

The panoramic view is superb, both in stormy weather and when it was sunny. The house was nicely stocked, except for no Kleenex.

I saw some bad reviews, which made me nervous. Those worries melted away immediately after arriving. This is an older beach house, but it fits the bill beautifully as a "beach house."" It was clean (except the game closet was a little messy). There are light switches everywhere, and it's a little bit of a hunt. If you like to sleep and others like to stay up, I suggest you sleep downstairs because the king room has an open ceiling and you can see all lights on and hear all movement in the house, but it's cool to look at the yurt style ceiling. There was a little mold on the ceiling, but it's the wet coast, and moisture rises. I notified the owners, and hopefully, they will address it.

The view was amazing. The rooms were comfortable. The seating was comfortable, and the kitchen was well appointed. We enjoyed our stay here, and all of our communications were answered immediately. We hope to come back with the family's with better weather and really enjoy the expansive decks!

Clean (ish) overall but valuable details were missed, like all the place mats had dried up food stuck on them, Gross! Not vacuumed well, if at all. Acoustics were interesting, upstairs you can hear everything! Like it's in the same room with you. Since this was a mother/daughter trip, it worked in our favor to listen to music or talk however, I could see potential challenges with different dynamics. The interior is Whale themed and cozy, leather furniture is in good shape upstairs and downstairs has some wear & tear. Duel fire places are a nice touch as you travel between levels, and it's the main heat source for the house. Took a while to warm the house but once temperature was maintained we were comfortable. * The lower level bedrooms were much colder. They had space heaters available however only 1 of 2 worked and the other heater shorted out the electrical on the exterior wall of 2nd bedroom so my daughter lost her room amenities on the 1st night and we lost electrical up to the porch exterior lighting. Kinda need light to use the keypad for entry! Luckily we all carry flashlights now. The wraps around decks are great and has furniture on the upper level. The deck bench is in need of repair, with slats missing on the back, so uncomfortable to sit together. ** Deck can be SLICK, apply extreme CAUTION on the stairs, especially the two off the bottom deck, outside sliding glass door. They are slanted downward and combined with moisture, it's a huge slip and fall issue! That's being said... Several items in need of repair. And Customer Service was of no help!! Lighting was a big one. The light switches are fun to sort, 1/2 of them serve no purpose at all. Upstairs lighting was a challenge. The bathroom has a heat lamp & fan combo in one, so to much light and hot. The bedroom had a cute vanity set up but the lighting around it was also broken. Light under microwave broken. Front door lighting and all plugs on front wall broke.

Amazing view! Quiet location and distanced from the neighbors so some privacy. The bay windows, facing the neighbors, have privacy screens so you're able to keep a view of the ocean and block the sun. Kitchen was adequate and had the basics of a functional full kitchen.

It was old and had a bad smell the carpets were stained and the windows were very dirty and a few broken seals on the sliding doors. The lighting was not great. A lot of the switches didn’t work. The stairs were very steep.

Screen door would stick and was so difficult to open. We realize this is the Oregon Coast but the mold smell downstairs and visible mold on the ceiling upstairs was pretty bad. A screen door on the slider would be nice.

I loved all the windows and that there was 2 living room a upstairs and a downstairs. 2 bathrooms
