Communication with our hosts was excellent. Their preparation of our accommodations , the check-in, information provided, etc....the best of any of the dozen places we've stayed in Alaska. I would highly recommend this place. One caution...there is a flight of stairs to navigate with your luggage.

Sofa bed was fine to sleep on, but space was tight for 4. Neighborhood was ok, but had off-street parking.

It was very difficult to find on a dark rainy night. There were no lights on the outside so we had to use our phone flashlight to both find the place and be able to see the door code

The location was fabulous. Easy walking to a great part of Fairbanks and very close to the airport. Perfect for a one night stay. The hosts are super friendly

We had a great little, fully operational self-contained apartment that was in the upper area of the host's residence. It was well stocked even down to washing powder for the washer/dryer combo, pots and pans, cooking utensils and breakfast foods. We stayed in quite a few inns / hotels etc. during our driving trip in Alaska and this was by far the best both in terms of amenities and value. It is well located in terms of getting around the city but is in a bit of the older part itself.

The weather. Be prepared to be cold and wet. This is a gateway to central Alaska but the local area is metropolitan not rural. Travel is essential to see wildlife and experience wild Alaskan wilderness.

The inn has 3 suites (bedroom, bathroom and kitchen/living room in mine). Others may be a bedroom bigger.. My suite was completely livable on a long term basis. It had every thing you would need for house keeping and the hosts were delightfully helpful and welcoming. It was 2 blocks of the main street (Cushman) and 11 blocks to the downtown area. About 5 blocks to the central bus depot and seniors get free transportation anywhere in town. Taxis were readily available and appropriately priced. The tourist center downtown is a tourist destination all by itself. Amazingly friendly people here in Fairbanks. Don't miss the "Jazz Bistro" on 4th street. An easy walk from the inn. Who knew, a superb Cuban restaurant in Alaska. In business for more that 11 years and an obvious favorite of locals. This is a real city. You can find all kinds of clothes and other standard items. But 2nd street downtown has awesome souvenir shops. Furs, carved ivory, jade jewelry and native art abound as well as apparel suitable for an outback adventure. And I am not talking about junk, some of the items were $10,000 or more and worth it.

Spacious and comfortable apartment with all you require for a self catering stay. Breakfast provisions provided were good. You do need to go down about 29 stairs to a basement apartment. About 20 minute walk to main part of town. Hosts were good and very informative. Many of the activities are quite spread out in Fairbanks. Would probably recommend hiring a vehicle or use a hotel that has free shuttles as the uber/Lyft fees are expensive

We loved our stay! Our host were wonderful, we felt right at home. The place was spotless, comfortable, equipped with everything we needed. Breakfast was very generous and our host contacted us to see if we needed anything to be replenished. The location is optimal in prime downtown Fairbanks. We will definetely be back!

Can't really think of anything.

Food in the fridge was fine for breakfast. We felt very comfortable there. It was a little home away from home for us. The owners were exceptionally nice people and very prompt in responding to any questions we had. Friends were staying in a hotel just a few blocks away so the location was very convenient. The apartment neighborhood was very quiet. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there, and if we go to Fairbanks again, we definitely want to stay here.

There were barely enough juices and milk for breakfast and only one hot chocolate- because we are not coffee or tea drinkers we’d have liked more alternatives but we got by. Although the kitchen was well stocked I could not find a small paring knife for cutting the fruit but that is probably the only thing I would add.

The space was lovely and comfortable- loved the Knick knacks around the rooms. Nice location for getting around Fairbanks. Furniture and bed very comfortable. Loved that we each had a luggage stand. We didn’t cook except breakfast but the cabinets were well stocked.
