Location is perfect for visiting Hoh rain forest and the Sol Duc area. Best of all it is so peaceful. House is so cozy and comfortable. Perfect for family vacation.

A gorgeous house with an even more gorgeous view. There is a river nearby, complete privacy with nature. Having read the comments, we hoped to meet elk and to our delight this happened. The house has everything you need for cooking and washing. The rooms are cozy and the beds are comfortable.

It was the perfect place for four adults. The rooms and beds were comfortable and everything was very clean . We prepared and ate our meals there and found the kitchen sufficiently well equipped. The location was wonderful for our trip to the rainforest and the beach. We absolutely love the riverfront location and we’re happy that we could spend as much time as we did in this beautiful, beautiful spot.

What a beautiful property. We loved sitting on the porch watching and hearing the river flowing by. There was a nice fire pit where we cooked hotdogs and s’mores that was a lot of fun. It was so peaceful and really was relaxing!

The location is amazing! It is very beautiful and quiet, convenient, and easy to access to all of the attractions. The owner, Pura, is very friendly and responsive. The beds are comfy. Highly recommend the place 👌 It would be nice if the second bedroom would have two twin beds (that can be transorm to a king size if needed) so we can rent this house again for traveling with kids. Thank you!

The house was comfortable, cozy, and private. It also had a lot of space for just two people. The kitchen was well-outfitted for cooking. What I did not expect was the natural beauty of the Sol Duc River. It was heavenly. It is perfectly clear, and we immediately saw American Dippers, a Blue Heron, and a Kingfisher. The sound of the river was restorative. I wanted more time after hiking to sit, watch, and listen to the river. Pura, the host, was delightful and responsive. We loved the location, as it was not too far on a huge peninsula to get to Sol Duc Resort, Crescent Lake, Beaches 1, 2, and 3, Kalaloch, and the Hoh. Forks was a fun town with a Twilight festival going on. We will return next time we go to the Olympic Peninsula.

The only minor thing that we didn't like was the shower curtain, which looked a bit oldish.

We had the pleasure of staying at this property for two nights and left with wonderful memories. The accommodations were clean and well-maintained, reflecting the care and attention of the owners. The host was exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to ensure our comfort. The location is stunning. Overall, it was an excellent value for the price, and we highly recommend it.

Nothing. Even the weather was great during our entire stay!

Location was perfect to discover the Olympic peninsula and a perfect starting point to visit the main touristic spots and a short drive to the Rialto beach for great sunsets. The cabin was a great place to relax after a good day hike or even to rest and take the time to enjoy the place during a quiet day. The view on the river was amazing. The cabin is very accessible, and the road is far enough to not be disturbed by it in any way. its close enough to Forks where you can buy anything you need. Chuck and Pura have been great hosts during our stay, helping us with any question we had. We felt at home, and we hope to visit again in the future. Thank you very much for all the memories we are bringing back from this place.

Needs better signage at street and at the fork in the driveway.

Everyone was impressed by the cleanliness and by how well stocked with implements the kitchen was. And the sound of burbling water was wonderful.

Gorgeous cabin, perfectly situated close enough to Forks for the convenience of the town's facilities, but with amazing views over the sol Duc river. It's close to the highway but that didn't trouble us and all the main attractions of the Olympic Park were a reasonable distance away. We loved the house and had a wonderful stay.

A Relaxing Getaway was just that...immensely scenic, quiet, comfortable, and beautiful. Pura sent detailed instructions for locating and accessing the cabin via email a few days before our stay. Her directions were clear, thorough, and concise. The cabin was very clean, spacious, and cozy, with a nice layout. Facilities and appliances were modern and in good working order. The kitchen was beautifully and thoughtfully equipped...gorgeous dishes, flatware, glassware, and utensils. Many items were thoughtfully provided, such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash, a great hair dryer, insect repellent, coffee, and a great selection of a large number of spices, and olive oil. There is a variety of board games available. The fire ring and sitting area near the beautiful river is exceptionally nice. A beautiful herd of elk walked past the cabin one morning...we enjoyed watching them...especially two young ones. We enjoyed a cozy fire in the wood stove, and dinner on the deck overlooking the river.

This location hit me in two stages, first occurrence happened when I walked over the small mound as you approach the house that reveals the river and fire-pit area below, this was jaw-dropping and much more beautiful than the pictures show. Second, once in the house, its homey, its very clean and plenty of room. Cozy and beautiful, what else could you ask for?? I planned to propose to my girlfriend at this location by the river. I called the host prior to our stay, letting her know my plans and see if there is anything extra I could add to a certain area of the property. Pura was an angel to work with and was more than willing to assist. My fiance and I be coming back to this location in the future no questions asked.

This property is in an amazing location and is perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature. The property view couldn't be better. Just on the shore of Sol Duc River, works like an extension of your garden. Also is located in a strategic point where you can access most of Olympic National Park's main attractions. The house itself has all supplies you might need for a comfortable stay. The hosts are great people, and will always be willing to help you and look for you to have the best time possible.
