This is an exceptional rental property perfect for a vacation or long weekend getaway for beach lovers wanting to enjoy the beautiful Crystal Coast at Emerald Isle with so much to do only minutes away. Pat and John are exceptional hosts and made our vacation visit extra special with their super hospitality, friendliness, helping us with some needs during our visit and offering a deep wealth of information and knowledge about numerous things locally, great places to eat and visit and were available and ready to help with anything needed. Their care for us was amazing. Their attached apartment is very cozy and well decorated, extremely comfortable and just right for 2 people or a small family of 3 or 4. The apartment is very well stocked with so many items and even the little things unexpected. What a treat! It was simply like being at home, at their home! We highly recommend their apartment as a quiet place to stay in a very nice neighborhood just off the main road heading to the beach and local places of interest. We look forward to a return visit again in the future. This is truly a treasure and an exceptional place for a NC coastal visit with incredible hosts.

It was in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to the beach. It had EVERYTHING you could possibly need so you don’t have to constantly run out and buy day to day things.

I can’t say anything bad at all, it was also easy to get in and out.

It would be easier to tell you what I didn’t like, which was NOTHING. No complaints at all. You can tell Pat and John really care and put effort in. They thought of everything; towels, seasonings, coffee and tea station, etc. they were quick to reply and keep in touch. They were very kind and even gave us stuff out of their garden! When I came across this place, I was skeptical it was a scam cause for the price it seemed too good to be true! But it’s not, they’re just lovely people with a lovely place to share. Wonderful location too, close to the beach, restaurants, walking trails, you could stay a week and find all sorts of things to do. Next time I’m down that way, they definitely have a repeat customer. Exceptionally clean, comfortable and peaceful. Cozy in~law style apartment. Everything you need is available and fully supplied with the likes of home. Close to stores, restaurants, attractions and the beachfront.

The bed in the first bedroom was beautiful but it was very HIGH and as I'm only 5' tall, I struggled to get in and out of this bed. But of course this was the bedroom my husband preferred because it had the TV - (the other bedroom doesn't have a TV).

We loved all the little special touches like the bath towels with the monogrammed tunas, the welcome basket complete with wine, water, and snacks, the fact that it was so very clean when we arrived, their attentiveness when we let them know the porch light was out, (they changed it promptly. A little thing but important to us!). It was so quiet and peaceful - a wonderful change from noisy hotels. We loved the beach themed decor as it made us feel like we were on the beach instead of 5 miles away. This apartment was perfect for just the two of us. It gave us plenty of space to stretch out.

Everything was great! This place had anything you would have needed during your time away from home. All the comforts of home and more. Very close to anything and everything yet was quiet and peaceful to just relax and get away from life for just a bit.

The streaming services required a personal login and we're included with the stay.

A cute little welcome basket full of treats and beverages upon arrival. Very spacious and had lots of extra amenities, like butter and seasonings, so I only had to buy the main food items that I needed. Water temperature gets as hot as I like it, lava temperature truthfully, and the water pressure was phenomenal. Hosts were very kind and helpful. Would definitely visit again.

It was one of the most beautiful places I had stayed at!! Not to mention the hosts were incredibly polite it was one of my very first vacations I had ever planned on my own and they were so accommodating and just flat out some of the most golden hearted individuals I had ever come into contact with. They also left the sweetest little welcome basket I will definitely book with them again if I’m in the area!

It was very nice and cozy. We liked the location of the place and how it was like 30 minutes to everything surrounding it. Emerald Isle is a beautiful beach. The place was immaculate and clean. Had everything we needed and way more.

Pat and John made sure they didn’t miss a thing you needed and even asked if we needed more. We’d love to stay again 10/10!

The place had everything needed for a long stay, great location, kind hosts. Quiet and private location. Very cute house with an apartment with a private entrance and balcony with a grill. The bedding was very soft. The kitchen and laundry were just the right size. Loved being able to talk to hosts via phone or in person and arriving to a bottle of wine, felt thoughtful, trustworthy.
