The halls are very narrow and uninviting. They do not have a restaurant or bar area. Thank goodness it is in a location that is close to restaurants and attractions.

The front desk staff was very pleasant and helpful. The room was small but suitable for the 1 night were there. The bed was comfortable. The wallpaper was not good, the window curtain hooks were broken which made it hard to close the curtains which we had to close because there were people working right outside of our window. The location was excellent. Close to restaurants, Times Square and pretty much everything.

Our hall was very dark. I never felt unsafe, but it was odd.

Location was convenient to plays, subway and shopping. Our room was very small but functional. The bed was on a platform with suitcase storage underneath.

Wi-Fi could have been better; for some reason, it was breaking up a lot. Also, my keys stopped working twice which was uncomfortable as I had to go downstairs to reprogram them. And there were two elevators but only one was working (for all 16 floors) and its door was jamming from time to time.

Loved my room! The location was very good. Although, it's very close to Times Square, I didn't have any issues with any noise (and I always sleep with windows open). The bed was super comfy, the shower was huge (loved that). There were also: a body wash, a body lotion and a shampoo with a conditioner, a cooler and a kettle with tea and coffee. And I got a few complimentary items like 2 bottles of water, candies and even a cute brochure with a map of the main attractions around the hotel :) And the price was very reasonable! Very much recommend!

A little bit disappointing in the charm department. Seemed to lack the polish of a classy hotel. The staff seemed to be unaware of the importance of hospitality standards.

The place is a little tired looking and one of the two lifts was out of order the entire duration of my stay. The concierge did tell me though that the place was getting a refurb just weeks away.

I booked the next day Because I want to experience more but it was a different place like everything seemed to be falling aoart. One elevator was out the other had problems closing the door there was no soap in the room and it took 40 minutes to receive some. The fellow In the elevator complained he had no toilet paper and had to go to a friend's room to relieve himself. Then there was the bed. Now I am 75 years old needing back surgery. The queen size bed by itself was wonderful. However it was surrounded by plastic cushion which made it difficult to get in an out of the bed. I like the first visit the second one was unpleasnt

The rooms are clean but I think they are all well used. There are marks on the wall and floor and kind of felt a bit dirty even though it had been cleaned. They have these thick curtains next to the bed which just seem dusty and old. Rooms also quite small.

When we got in, the AC wasn't working, as soon as we let them know they sent the immediately. However, the AC was repaired but extremely loud, waking us throughout the nights while we were there. We did tell someone but was only told to cut it off while not in the room. We did that, and when returning, it was extremely hot, taking long to cool back off.

The staff was exceptional. The room was comfortable, and housekeeping kept it clean daily. The bed was comfortable, and although the rooms in New York are typically small, it was just enough for my husband and I.

The furniture is outdated and there is no sound insulation. There is a lot of noise at night and early in the morning.
