The check in process. Really confusing and potentially dangerous when coming from overseas. I was fortunate to be able to call via a data plan i got before i flew but had i not been able to get in contact i may have been left on the steps for god knows how long... just use the lockbox!!!!

Essentially a studio apartment right by MSG. Amazing value for money. Room was relatively clean. Check out process was easy. For a solo trip when you intend to be out and about most of the day, you cant go wrong

Tiny room with minimal facilities, broken sink basin repaired badly with sealant, 2 plastic cups, 2 plastic bowls and a box of plastic disposable cutlery.

Bed was soft so not great for my back but I’m sure for most people it would be fine.

Location was excellent, communication before arrival and during stay was very good. Room was big and comfortable and shower was more than adequate. Great value all round.

The door to you flat has a vary basic construction and have no isolation so you hear what is happening in the stairs. The window was overlooking something like a shaft (?). There was no heating - there is only a vertical pipe which is warm, but I believe it is not enough in winter months (i was in early April).

My apartment was the very small one with a shared bathroom (near the staircase). Good localization (close do MSG and High Line), a fridge, a private sink,, the bed is quite comfortable. You get a towel and your own toilet paper roll. It was good enough for me anyway - a lonely traveller looking for cheap but at the same time a private room.

Bed sheets were not changed. Even there is a kitchen, but no tools, towel, plates, kettle, so not much you can do with stove. It was very cold, because window was not possible to close due to conditioner in it with spaces covered in paper, so you even feel the wind in room all the time when it is +5celcius outside. Bathroom with mold.

WiFi basically didn't work and I had to use my own data almost all the time so you might not want to plan to use the wifi for work etc., a pot and a pan provided but no plates, glasses etc., I had a street-facing room so it can be quite noisy although I didn't hear people in other rooms, no option for a self check-in although it seemed other rooms in the house were offering this, the shared shower room was quite moldy.

Superb location just a street over from Penn Station and Madison Square Garden, neighbourhood felt safe to walk in at night, quick check in and easy communication, comfy bed, spacious room with fridge, oven, and sink, no issues with sharing the bathroom,

My stay was on the 4th floor no elevator I had to walk up 4 sets of stairs to get to my room

I like the location was definitely close to where I need to go. Time square was literally a 10 minute walk from my stay . Everything was pretty quiet & safe

Had to ring to gain access to place. had to share toilet and and shower. But i knew that in advance.

It's not the Ritz but if your looking to save some money this might be a good option. Good location walkable to Empire state, Times square, Central park and even downtown. Easy to get to from airport via airtrain and LIRR to Penn Station. Plenty of places to eat. Fridge and microwave in room

The bathrooms were not in the room, they are shared with the floor and both the shower and toilet were fairly dirty. The outlets didn’t work in the bedroom.

Very nice location, right next to Penn station which made it very easy to get to/from the airport. Fairly quiet area! (On a weekday)

One side of the bed was sunken in. No fresh air was available. If you have breathing problems, then it's not for you. I used to sleep with an open window all year round. Without the possibility of opening a window, I couldn't fully rest.

I liked the location. It's handy.
