We arrived early and had to pay $100 to check in earlier than 3PM. It makes no sense. If the room is ready, you are already paying for that date, unless they will refund the hours between 11 and 3 the day you leave.

It was below street level so there was a musty smell at first. Also being lower could hear up above a lot - they came in at 3 am or it was under a staff change - not sure.

The cushion on the pullout couch bed was bad. You could feel the bar of the bed frame and it was very uncomfortable. There were ants under the rug in the bedroom area. There were also a few on the kitchen counter after we left a few crumbs behind. We had to make sure the counters were free of all crumbs to prevent ants.

The size of the room was great. The kitchen was great. Loved the rain shower and water pressure. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again. The queen size bed was very comfortable.

Lots of ants in the kitchen/bathroom. We were on the bottom floor which is likely expected because of the time of year but they were a bit of a pain!

Rooms are very spacious and clean! Front desk staff is always welcoming and available to assist when needed. This is our second time staying at this property and will definitely come back again!

This didn't bother me too much, but the items to consider about this room are: 1. It's in the basement, so there is not a lot of light even during the day so if that is important for your stay consider booking a loft instead 2. The heater is quite loud and goes on and off during the night, but this is common in New York and buying decent earplugs will help

This was a fantastic room, as big as expected, with all the amenities we needed. The location in Greenpoint is perfect, and it is super accessible. Everything you need is nearby, including grocery stores, cafes, bakeries, restaurants, and bars. The gym and sauna were also a great addition and very uncommon for New York. The staff were friendly and very helpful, if you're new to New York there is a lot of information available through the hotel.

The reception staff were reasonably friendly but could be a lot more engaging, especially the young member of staff. We were on the lower level floor where there was a laundry room. One night we could hear the machines running in the middle of the night which we felt was unlikely to be a customer. This was reported to reception and didn’t hear it again.

The room was very spacious and had everything we needed for a 7 day break. It was cleaned everyday which we didn’t really expect.
