They welcomed us with genuine kindness, asked if we had eaten, helped us choose a restaurant, and even let us select our own room. Every detail of the house is beautifully arranged, filled with history and surprises that made the experience so special.
Breakfast was another highlight—freshly prepared by the host himself with such care and heart. What moved us even more was that they played Chinese songs during breakfast, which made us feel warmly connected and truly at home. This thoughtful gesture, along with everything else they did, reflects the Japanese spirit of “Ichigo Ichie”—treasuring each unique encounter as once-in-a-lifetime.
