“The history and quirkiness of the house, like the 60s phone nook on the staircase, the recessed lighting and what we thought must be an old laundry chute. It was spacious and well-stocked with utensils and bed linen/ towels etc.

“Stayed here on a road trip, never been in one of these casinos before. Reception was friendly and helpful. Room had a bay view and was large but the overall ambiance was rather dated. Everything worked fine and aircon was quiet when heating or cooling which is a bonus in IS hotels. The lack of tea and coffee making facilities in the room was a big negative. Also the in hotel dining was unattractive certainly to me and when I went searching for food all I found was low quality burger bars.
For me as a passer by the location was poor because of the lack of dining anywhere in walking distance and the price was very high for the standard. I suppose if you want to feed slot machines for a day it certainly convenient. One exception though was the breakfast at the pancake house down the road, that was excellent. Unfortunately this wasn’t open in the evening.”
