Comfortable and quiet Lovely, polite hostess Clean

A few long-term guests commandeer the kitchen, so using the facilities can be difficult and awkward

This is the 2nd time staying at this hostel, as before it was an exceptional experience! I was very pleased to be welcomed by the same hostess as last time, Iryne, a warm and welcoming woman who goes out of her way to make sure everything is to your liking. Despite the situation in Kharkiv, and the rest of Ukraine, I was made to feel relaxed and happy whilst there. Iryne makes sure the guests at the hostel have everything they need and she is always available to help in any matter, large or small. Her English is also very good and that's very helpful to someone like me, who struggles with the local language. The hostel is in a prime position, only a short walk from the city centre... It's clean and tidy with all the facilities you need. For the price, this is easily the best place I've stayed at in Ukraine, or any other country. I look forward to visiting again soon!

I've stayed in many many hotels/hostels, and this one was by far the best! Very easy to find! Lovely and clean, fantastic location, a few minutes walk to the city centre. Amazing value for money. And the best thing about this particular hostel was the hostess, Irene, she is a wonderfully attentive woman, she made me feel very welcome and always asked if there was anything I needed...I wish all hostel hostesses were like her! Thanks Irene!

The only thing I didn't like was the fact that my visit was so short, I could've stayed there for a month and I would've been happy!

I'm not sure how to best explain it. After making a reservation, I made my way to this hostel, exactly as shown in the photos. The door was locked, I did not know the code. There was no doorbell, and the building had multiple windows blown up and looked abandoned. I called the phone number and was directed to go somewhere else, about 1km away where I could get the same room for the same price. Staff was lovely, but instead of a room, I got a dorm with a door that couldn't close and a security camera pointed at the bed. I'm assuming something happened recently. If the hostel still operates despite the damage, thanks for providing a way to check in. If it doesn't, please update the booking page.

Hot water pressure is low, available space is minimal.

One of the best hostels I have stayed in, very clean and comfortable, I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kharkiv.
