Some of the vendors along the beach , mainly the "fake maasai" were a bit too intrusive with some of the young ladies tanning. A better watch/guard is probably needed to avoid some ( not all) clients to get annoyed.

The fact that they had their own secure beach entry without being directly on the beach front. the beach bar/restaurant was well stocked with good food and drinks. The Resort restaurant was really good as well.

I had an amazing 3-night stay at this hotel in Zanzibar. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, the room was very clean and comfortable, and the atmosphere was just perfect. The restaurant was excellent, with delicious food every time. A special thank you to Ivana, the manager, who does an outstanding job to make sure everything runs so well. I truly enjoyed my time here and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Zanzibar

All was very good

Too little space to say how good this place is. It is perfect. Great for kids. Staff are fantastic. Food excellent. Beach is clean and ideal with a Beach Bar for snacks and drinks. The Manager is truly excellent in his customer service and dealt with any little issue promptly and more than satisfactorily. Usually after 5 days somewhere I want to move on. Not from here. There can be nowhere better.

We stayed at Kiwengwa Bungalow Boutique Resort with our family and two small children — and it was a fantastic experience. The atmosphere was peaceful and family-friendly, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. Everything was clean and well-maintained, and we truly felt at home. We have no complaints at all. The only minor downside was that the restaurant prices were a bit high compared to other places in the area, but the quality of service and setting made up for it. Highly recommended for families looking for a quiet and relaxing stay near the beach!

I can not rate this property highly enough. The layout was beautiful, the facilities and availability of activities was superb. The beach was gorgeous and the staff were outstanding- they genuinely could not do enough to help. A big thank you to Jana for organising our safari- it was truly a once in a lifetime experience. nothing. everything was perfect

We had everything we needed for our vacation. Everything was very convenient. Beach beds enough for all guests, nice and quiet pool in a beautiful garden, Italian restaurant on the beach with best cocktails, the disco club just in front of the hotel beach, best massages we had (I recommend) and Hana tattoos for me and my daughter. Food was excellent, both breakfast and dinner. They made for you omelets and pancakes and all fruits and fresh juices. What else you need? The staff is so kind, smiling, willing to make you comfortable, you become addicted in few days to people and the place.

The food was very good and we looved the garden around the pool. They have kids toys at the reception and kids things at the pool, what our kids loved. The staff was very kind and the manager understanding when we had to leave the hotel earlier and they allowed us to have free cancellation of last night. If you want a small hotel I reccomend it.

- the double room is small - maybe half a meter either side of the bed! - the level of chemicals in the pool!!! (green sides in the filter but water is miraculously clear, and it all smelt like a theme park log-flume) - the really rubbish soap they provide in the rooms. - the staff are sweet but very low in capacity - not learning and adapting to our consistent habits and routines with the kids and breakfast orders for e.g. - breakfast is below the quality of even the good value of the place. the cereal was all stale - though they started to bake it to crisp it up a little, lol! - lack of clarity that the booking would be 150usd more if we paid by card and didn't incorporate the city tax into our sums for our 1 week booking. - the mangy but half domesticated cat that slunk around (and bit our baby, without much more than a shrug of care let alone apology from one of the foreign managers).

- headline here is value for money. 2 rooms sleeping 4 for the price we got, in kiwengwa, was very good value. We went looking forward to spending the savings on nice food on the beach, which we did. - all the pool and play corner toys and games for young kids. - the simplicity of the place. - the italian beach restaurant (which I dont think is included in their inclusive packages - WARNING, as other resto is nowhere near as good) - good comms with Ivana before arrival and everything as expected. - the huge fridge in our room and room drinking water availability.

We loved our time at KBB and will be back. Shani and her staff team were all fantastic, attentive, friendly and could not have done more to make our stay excellent. They went out their way to accommodate us all including the kids and they loved the kids pool and the kids play area! We’d definitely recommend.

My only observations are: dinner - it was à la carte (and very good, don't get me wrong), but I would prefer buffet. And I could only go to the beach after noon, because of the low tide in the morning.

The facilities are very nice, clean and spacious rooms. The pool also great. Breakfast was nice, a good variety of options. The beach is only a few steps away. The staff is very nice! I even get a surprise birthday song and cake! Super special.
