The bed mattresses were a bit too hard and difficult to sleep on.

The service was absolutely fantastic, and the breakfast meals were delicious.

We had such an amazing stay it was sad saying goodbye. Alfred and company took great care of us. The property itself is right by the beach, the pool was in pristine condition and the food was amazing, can't fault anything.

The staff was very friendly and attentive. They went the extra mile when we had a request. The beach was beautiful, very peaceful and relaxing. The food and the massages were excellent. We liked the place so much that we extended our stay!

The schedule for dinner is a bit early

The house is spacious, comfortable, and secure. It offers a peaceful, slightly isolated setting, yet it's just a 3-minute drive from the center of Bwejuu. The staff is attentive and friendly. One thing to keep in mind is that the beach is affected by tides, so it’s not always accessible. I highly recommend this place for a relaxing stay.

Beautiful, peaceful guesthouse on the beach, we stayed in one of the 2, two storey apartments. With 2 large bedrooms and 2 bathrooms our stay was super comfortable and relaxing, everything was spotless and the food was fantastic. The wonderful Suzie looked after us superbly - she is a treasure! Highly recommend

The aspects we didn’t enjoy so much are hardly the place’s fault and are commonplace across the whole island and didn’t take away from the experience. The sea is quite full of seaweed, so is the beach on low tides. That’s just nature. But the seaweed is not smelly at all. Be sure to keep an eye on the sand while you are walking barefoot, as glass shards are somewhat common. We stayed for quite a while - 11 days! - and sometimes missed a TV in our room to watch the occasional film or series on Netflix. But that shouldn’t bother in shorter stays.

Super relaxing stay, perfect for an after safari trip. The beach is beautiful and quiet, with very few people. Much less “beach boys” (insisting sellers) than in other spots of the island, the bed is big and comfortable (not too hard, not too soft) and the meals are wonderful and varied, with a very good price. These were probably the best meals we had in Zanzibar. Breakfast was delicious (we loved their homemade jam!) and served on time. Susie and Alfred, as well all the staff that services the house, were super welcoming and accommodated all our needs.

The air conditioner is missing. We would suggest that, only. The rest is perfect.

A few problems with the property. It was tired and lacked basics e.g. hardly any glasses, cutlery, kitchen implements. The loo seat was completely broken as were other things. The beds very hard and uncomfortable.

Flies but that was everywhere we stayed in Zanzibar.

The place is very quiet and peaceful....apart from when the monkeys are swinging from tree to tree or the balcony but they were a delight to watch. The staff were very nice and the food delicious. Very clean apartment. There is no TV but that didn't make the stay boring at all. When the tide was high it was calming to watch the waves at sunset. I unfortunately fell ill so wasn't able to go on the activity but met the guide and he was very nice.

Given the price level, we expected a better-equipped kitchen and bathrooms, as the current facilities were quite basic.

Excellent location and exceptionally friendly staff. We particularly appreciated the direct beach access and the sense of privacy. The team was consistently helpful and provided outstanding service throughout our stay, including breakfast and many thoughtful details that enhanced our experience.

The biggest issue we had was the constant electricity cuts. The generator also had a problem so it was the 3rd day of our stay before it was turned on for any amount of time. It was very frustrating.

The apartment is beautiful. Really well decorated and lovely. The staff are friendly and the food was excellent. We loved the location right on the beach.
