This place has great potential. The staff is friendly, the swimming pool is nice, the food at the restaurant is good, and it’s conveniently close to the beach. However, during our 4-day New Year’s stay, we faced frequent water and electricity shortages, which significantly affected our experience. The electricity issue seems to be widespread across Zanzibar, but it would be a worthwhile investment for the hotel to install a generator so guests don’t have to endure nights without a fan. Additionally, water was only available at certain times of the day, making it inconvenient to shower after spending time at the beach. It would be helpful if the hotel provided water buckets in the chalets as a temporary solution. Despite these challenges, we enjoyed our time there. If you’re on a budget and can tolerate these inconveniences, it’s a decent place to stay. However, if having reliable electricity and water is essential for you, I’d recommend choosing another hotel that guarantees these amenities.

NetherlandsThe appartments were old and light buttons and toilet were situated at crazy spots - not well thought about. The organization was very poor. No strong management, so things went slow, the general spaces were not clean and the restaurant facilities were very poor. Little choice for breakfast, cold dinner and no coffee / tea facilities during the day. On Fridays there is a Kareoke, meaning that until 4 am you can't sleep... Music is more then loud as the party is out in the open.
The ambiance in general, swimming pool and close to the beach and town.

United StatesNo trash can. Sheets were worn out. Hot water ran out within a matter of minutes, but I hear that's an issue all throughout the island.
Short walk to the beach. Staff were flexible and accommodative. Cute bungalow with mosquito net, private bathroom, and front porch. Good breakfast. Sunbeds on the property allow for tanning in the late afternoon when the sun no longer touches the beach.

SpainAs a whole the bungalow was very basic. Don't expect a fancy toilet or shower. The beds were not the most comfortable. The worst part was that the mosquito nets had holes in them so we ended up getting bitten a lot. The price is really good, so cannot complain. Don't expect luxury!
The bungalow was very close to Paje beach and the center of Paje. The staff was very friendly and helped us whenever we needed it. The breakfast was basic, but nice.

I did like the service rendered by the staff but one small change you should do is to try and change your breakfast not only eggs everyday and chapati It will not add costs you get different items only.Place the entrance menu board Like Monday to Sunday changing menu Check around things that you have which can make same price but different. It makes a difference as someone does not wakeup and think of eating same things Monday to Sunday. I hope this will take off from to day because we are coming back with other friends soon. Another thing some houses have tiles but mine was very old cement. I am sorry I was shocked when I compared my room floor with others. This is to help you understand well what clients need but in good faith try to check all I mentioned for your good business

United KingdomBathrooms really poor, shower located next to the toilet made it always wet, no bath mat so water was all over. Breakfast was average, asked for two eggs, got 1 only. It was loud at night, ear plugs recomended😉 In general nice place but needs toilet upgrade I think.
I like the pool, the trees around the bungalows, hammocks at the front of bungalow, also that the resort was located close to the centre of village. The message lady was great, we enjoyed relaxing message very much.
