The hotel was located within close proximity of the E-DA hospital. The staff were super friendly and willing to assist with any queries. There was the added bonus of the theme park and mall (at the foot of the hotel) but I didn't have enough time to explore those two locations. Perhaps something to do during my next visit.

Lobby smells a little humid and less pleasant

Near shopping mall and restaurants, so it’s convenient if you don’t want to drive out to get food.

The bathroom shower doors had not been properly washed resulting in a lot of limescale deposits . Tired looking room. Stressed personnel not treating their junior staff with much consideration. Breakfast buffet was not particularly varied compared to other hotels of that budget range in Taiwan.

The location was perfect! Outlet mall and theme park are just a walk away. They also provide free ferris-wheel ride if you book a stay.

Water running noise from next room could be heard very clearly. Could be disturbing if the next room uses bathroom in the midnight.

room is small and the toilet is very old. Carpet in the common area is not very clean. Front counter staff gave wrong information regarding the shuttle bus. Not worth to stay.

i love the kids playground in the room, thats a new experiencies for our kids, they they didnt even want to go outside the room anymore, even when we check-out, they wanted our kids to reorganize the toys

The quilts in the room might not be well cleaned cuz my family got bitten by some bugs after they woke up.

We weren't very happy with out stay at all, location, cleanliness, scenery and entire vibe of the area wasn't something I would recommend. Location isn't very good at all, if you're wanting to stay more than one night, there isn't much to do here unless you're planning to do lots of shopping and spend time at the park. Getting into town is an hour away by bus with limited scheduled bus time (about 1-1.5hr wait in between). Only convenience is close proximity to the mall and theme park but I wouldn't recommend staying here for that. When we were trying to leave the bus out of E-DA was missing, so we had to wait an extra hour at the bus station. The view driving in for the first time wasn't very appealing with the abandoned half-build hotels and unwashed building walls, but the room from outside the window in our room was a bit depressing, directly looking the scenery of unbuilt abandoned hotels and gave an uneasy feeling as soon as we entered the room. The walk in the hotel had some old, dirty carpet and peeling wallpaper, and the wallpaper in our room had some peeling next to the bed. We had a bath in the bathtub and the morning after my partner had a UTI, were thinking that maybe the bath wasn't clean resulting in that infection. The TV was old with limited channels, and the cable tv box was unplugged, I had to plug in the receiver cable to get it working. We stayed from Wednesday till Friday but the whole time we were there the most of the stores in market weren't open so there wasn't really much to see or do especially during night time. I don't really recommend coming here unfortunately, and if you were still, I would recommend only one night, perhaps visiting the theme park in the day, mall at night, and Fo Guang Shan the morning after, we felt a bit stuck here booking two nights.

Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was average with a wide range of options. Fo Guang Shan temple is relatively close, compared to the city.

The soundproofing at room is not good.

Excellent place for kids. Need extra $500 to use the swimming pool at Eta Royal hotel.
