The staff are not really that accommodating. They don't really clean the room! They only change the towels (which we think was the only good thing they do). They don't take out all the trash. Like for example the empty water bottles, they won't take it out unless it is on the bin or beside the bin... The air condition is also leaking some water so we had to put one towel so it won't get flooded on the room yet the staff seem to not have some common sense to have it replaced or cleaned as well.

Close to Ximen Station which makes it so accessible. It is very close to some popular spots as well such as Rainbow 6 Crossing, Ximending Market, Red House, and Xing Fu Tang. Reasonable price for the area. Close to Taipei Main Station as well, about 12-15 min walk. It is also close to the Airport Express! 18-20min walk which is very nice if you have an early checkout or flight

The wall is very thin among bedrooms. We are laughing at 2 am and the staff notified to keep our voice down. If you are night person, it is better to keep the voice down.

Love this hotel because of strategic location. You can walk to the Ximending Area by walk only. In the future, i think this hotel will implement self check-in and self check out in future. Staff instruct us for the self check-out machine near entrance. Wifi good and toilet are okay as well. Me and my friends are enjoyed staying here and we add additional 1 more night to stay in here.

However, it's worth noting that breakfast is not included in the stay. While this wasn't a major issue for me, having an on-site breakfast option would have added to the convenience.

I recently stayed at Ximen Garden Inn, and its location is truly one of its standout features. Situated just a short walk from the bustling Ximending area, it's perfect for travelers eager to explore Taipei's vibrant shopping and entertainment district. A notable convenience is the NET store located directly below the hotel, offering affordable clothing and accessories—a great spot for quick shopping without venturing far.​ The hotel itself is clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable environment to relax after a day of sightseeing. I appreciated the complimentary bottled drinking water provided daily, which was a thoughtful touch.​

Location is the best quality of this accommodation. Take note it is more like a motel with basic facilities. Clean but upkeep could be better with flaking wallpaper and holes from previously broken racks visible.

We were just suprised that the staff has done housekeeping even if we did not request to. We are aware that staff has copies of the keys or access cards that's why they were able to get in while we are out.

Room was comfy and spacious as expected. Beds made our resting so comfy and warm.

The room is a bit noisy, especially when the room next to ours uses the faucet or shower and there is a loud watering noise possibly coming from the water pump or something. Although the faucet is clean without scale, some mold is on the shower room floor.

My room didnt have a window. Also, my room was right in front of the lobby so can be quite noisy when other guests come in and go out.

early check-in is not sure. I was lucky to check-in 1 hour earlier because the room i booked is available. There was not bidet in the room that I booked - not sure if it's just mine or for all of the rooms.

enjoyed the convenience of the location! It's nearby bus stops and ximen station exit 6. Will definitely book again during my next visit! They also clean up your room even if I forgot to put the room service sign. They have free water also and you can leave your bags.

They only provide free water bottle in our room only twice though there is a water dispenser in the lobby. The refrigerator in our room is leaking and you cannot leave frozen food inside because the ref side magnets are broken.

The room is spacious, comfortable beds, easy check-in and check-out via machine. They change our towels on a daily basis. Good location, near Ximen station exit 6, near bus stations. Near to Ximending night walk market.

It was well situated even if it’s not marked on google maps! Super easy to find and our taxi/uber found it easily. The rooms are super spacious, self check in and check out Everything is next to you, even a cute little coin laundry
