Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

Donna is very informative, the room is clean with big bathroom. Unfortunately, we didn't get to walk in the garden but it looks amazing. Location is splendid, close to bus station if you travel by bus and the pier in walkable distance.

Close to the bus station. Staff is very helpful in allowing us a room right after arriving before lunch. The room we booked has no window, as we are out most of the time and that we just needed a room to rest. The room is clean and comfortable.

VietnamThe front of the place was a bicycle rental shop with a little sign that said Timing House, so it gave us a little hard time to locate. Rooms aren't very well soundproofed.
The location was great, a 1-minute walk (even with suitcases) to the main bus station. The staff was very friendly and helpful. She gave me a quick intro of everything inside the place and even recommended places to visit. They have a little Japanese garden with a swing that was very pretty, too bad we didn't stay for long so not much time to chill there.

ThailandAlmost transparent glass in the toilet can make guests feel uncomfortable. A bit difficult to find the hotel as there is a bike shop in front of the hotel. There should be a clear sign so guest can find the hotel easily.

PolandI would introduce a soap dispenser - it's better than disposable soap. PS. The bathroom has a transparent glass (but it's on the side) - it didn't bother us, but it might be uncomfortable for someone.
Very helpful owners - we bought tickets for the boat from them (with a discount), we could also get help with booking bikes (including electric ones). We also got a lot of recommendations on what to do. I think they can be very helpful in organizing attractions in Sun Moon Lake. We were also given the opportunity to check in earlier, which we thank you for. The Totoro movie-themed room was great. Great that we also received a postcard for free - we collect them from every place we visit.

AustraliaWe found as there were no windows, the room we booked could get a bit humid coming home at the end of the day (although this is hard to avoid in this area!).
Great base for exploring Sun Moon Lake, with the option of renting bikes from the shop in front. Room was spacious and comfortable, with a large shower and plenty of space for us to stretch out. The host is super friendly and we appreciated the common room with its supply of free snacks and coffee. Everything closes pretty early here so it was useful to be just around the corner from the convenience stores.
