Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

The hotel is conveniently located near Taipei Main Station. The room was spacious and the large bathtub was comfortable. There's a delicious beef noodle restaurant nearby that's open from the morning. You can order Fuhang Soy Milk for breakfast every day except Mondays. The deadline for reservations is 5 PM the day before, so it's best to order early if you'd like. Overall, I had a very comfortable stay. I'd like to use this hotel again the next time I visit Taipei.

BelgiumNo sound proof- and gets noisy sometimes when guests in next door is up and about. The rooms are cosy but small, bit hard to navigate with two huge suitcases. There is only one elevator.
Cosy hotel in good location. We had an early flight to catch and the hotel is just a 5-7 mins walk from the airport MRT station making it convenient. To get to the hotel from Taipei main station, Z10 is the exit but has a couple flights of stairs. If you have luggages it’s better to take Z4 which is the elevator exit and then walk a bit on the road to reach the hotel.

United StatesThe sofa is sometimes dirty, and towel sometimes smelly, but its all quite minor. Slightly overpriced? I can pick a more fancy hotel with 30% additional price. But if you are in budget, here is quite good
Amazing, the premise is quite small, but its in amazing location, brilliant amenities, free laundry, free breakfast order. You got everything u need.

Free laundry. Workers are super friendly and helpful. They arranged a van that took us to the airport at a reasonable price. Everything was great, will stay here again.

SingaporeMy room's alright but maybe having some teaspoons with the cups provided would make more sense.
Just a few minutes walk from Taipei Main Station., exit Z10 (through the underground mall). You can walk everywhere from here: Ximending, National Museum, MOCA Taipei, etc. Lao Chang beef noodles are also near the hotel. A couple of konbini nearby too. I have a good view of the street downstairs lol i enjoy people watching. Will stay here again

AustraliaNot a fan of their pillows but this is a minor quibble. Shower experience not consistent. Basically, during peak bathroom usage, if someone in another room flushes the toilet, expect the water to get really hot. But water pressure is good and didn't really detract from our enjoyment staying at this hotel
Great value for money hotel in the city centre. Very close to MRT exit. Spent 6 nights here, was the best hotel we stayed at in Taiwan. Housekeeping only comes if requested by simple switch on your room. Offered extra service of having popular bakery/ pastry goods delivered to the hotel, so you don't have to buy and lug around heavy boxes of pineapple cakes yourself. Good sized rooms, staff very friendly and helpful. Good, supportive mattress. Really appreciated the use of free washing machines. Appreciated the quiet air conditioning and the effort to dampen noise from the streets as I am someone who can't fall asleep with loud noises around me.

SingaporeNot enough hooks for hanging clothes in the room (there is no cupboard, so hooks are important). There are no hooks in the toilet for hanging clothes. If this is a safety issue, then have plastic hooks. Pillows are very flat, though it may be common in Taiwan as it was the same as our other hotel. The hotel gave us a second pillow for each person, upon request, and that solved the problem.
The reception area is small but the quality of service is like a 5-star hotel. It is modern, clean and in good condition. All equipment work well and soap, shampoo, conditioner and tissue paper are in plentiful supply. The location is excellent, about an 8 minute easy walk to the airport train, MRT and high speed rail. It is surrounded by convenience stores, eating outlets (including a McDonald’s) and shopping. Walking distance to Ximending.
