Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

PolandThere were problems from the very beginning at check-in. There is no staff in the facility who can welcome you, but there is a machine where you can register and pay for your room. However, the description of the facility is a lie, because you cannot pay with a European card and you have to have cash. Internet - very poor speed, rather only for browsing the internet. There is no mechanical ventilation or heating in the room, so it was damp.
Daily change of towels. Warm water and good pressure.

JapanThe toilet and shower are in the same private room and are not separated. So the toilet gets flooded. I'm not used to this style so I'm not good at it. The white board under the air conditioner in the room I stayed in (room 202) was covered in black mold. This may be resolved with a thorough cleaning. I would like you to do beautification activities.
If you needed help checking in and out, Press the intercom Staff will operate it remotely. Since there is no room cleaning for consecutive nights, you can replenish your own towels and amenities from the cupboard next to the machine when you check in. There is a cleaning lady near the front desk in the morning. If you tell them that there are no towels in the cupboard, they will give you one. If you want to go to Jiufen, you can walk from the hotel to Wanhua Station, take the train, and then take a taxi from Ruifang Station. If the roads are not crowded, it is a 45 minute drive from Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport to the hotel.

Czech Republici’ve met the cleaning ladies and they were absolutely wonderful and kind, so by no means i wish this comment to reflect on their work in any way, which i believe must be really hard, however the bathroom could use a thorough cleanup including new silicone as it is very moldy
convenient location, 24/7 access, great price, the room itself was clean

South KoreaNo laundry service. You need to walk about 10 minutes to the next coin laundry.
Arrived with a bicycle - very convenient from the bike path at the river and close to bus station/subway when I left. The street is close, so it can be a little loud, but you might also get a parking lot at the hotel. There is a nice beer place across the street- Sunday nights are 2for1 there. The room/bathroomis clean, but you cansee that you need to fight humidity allthe time.

United StatesRoom smelled like cigarettes two of the three days I stayed. There’s some black dust/mold in the room corners and shower corners. There’s no front desk staff if you need help with something. There’s an intercom by the front desk but it’s almost impossible to hear what they’re saying because it keeps cutting out every other word.
Self check in and out was easy. The room was decent size and the bed was comfortable. There’s free toiletries u can grab at the front desk. They technically can hold the luggage for you but since there’s no staff there’s no security that it’s well protected from others.

Czech RepublicThese are not dealbreakers and I’d probably stay again but: 1. The location is 15 minute from an MRT but it was alright, I always ride youbike. 2. The bathroom was all flooded when taking shower (the drain was very slow). 3. the hotel says that they have “smart AI” check in system. In reality the QR code didn’t work, I had to ring the bell and talk to someone on the phone but the signal was so bad that I almost didn’t hear them. They opened the door and there was a machine inside to complete the check in. However payment didn’t go through. Only at this moment the lady at the reception started to help me (before she didn’t even say hi or open the door for me even though she saw me having issues to get in). So.. that is the “smart AI system”.
At the time, the price was good.

GermanyNext MRT station Longshan Temple or train station Wanhua are both a 15 min walk. Being a self check-in hotel, it's definitely a more difficult experience if you encounter problems (e.g. if credit card does not work, getting WiFi password). Wifi is not available in the whole room (505). You can hear the road a bit, but it's not very noisy.
Clean room, comfortable bed. The hotel is self check-in. You can always ring the operator on the phone. During the day there is also a lady at the counter, who can help. Good if you need a parking space for your car.

I appreciated that the manager Kerr went out of his way to accommodate me and my daughter. He even went to buy a charger for me to use while we stayed there. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. I checked out and felt confident leaving the country and leaving my daughter there alone at the hotel They gave me piece of mind. It meant the world to me
