Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Hong KongDuring raining season I have to empty the dehumidifier 2 times a day myself - would be nice if there was an exit tube going outside the balcony. But staff are friendly and will help if you call the front desk. So really not a dislike but more of an improvement to the facilities. Because it’s a shared business building - sometimes the lifts do take a few minutes to go up/down; so just plan a few more minutes so you dont be late.
The size of my room is how hotel rooms should be. Also loved how the lifts to the trains were just a few steps away from the ground floor building entrance and literally food, shopping, and foot massage within 10 mins walking distance.

MalaysiaThe toilet was a bit stinky. Tried to wash it myself but the smell was there to stay. Signage or location was not clearly spelled out.
The location was right smack at a major train station. Many shops and malls around it. Loved the Lounge area. They had luggage weighing machine too. They allow us to drop our bags while we explored the city.

SingaporeApparently it is on the 19th floor of a business building which is quite unique but the building might not be the easiest to locate. That said, it is a small issue that just requires a little more preparation to locate the place.
It is right beside Taipei main, can't complain. This hotel is perfect for a no-frills short stayover. Room is big and clean, nothing impressive but comfortable enough for a few nights.

MalaysiaHowever, locating the hotel initially was somewhat confusing, as there were no clear directions provided. Moreover, the nearest MRT exit does not have a lift, which makes it challenging to manage our luggage and baby strollers. The room was furnished with a queen-size bed, which felt slightly cramped for two adults and a toddler.
The hotel is situated in a convenient location, with easy access to Taipei Main Station. It offers a complimentary self-service laundry room, which is a great feature for longer stays. Additionally, there is a pantry area available for guests to prepare simple meals. One thoughtful detail is the provision of proper indoor slippers, which made it easy for us to move around the hotel premises comfortably without needing to wear our sneakers. A 24-hour convenience store located just downstairs was especially handy for quick purchases or midnight snacks.

SingaporeBeds were a bit too hard to our liking. Otherwise, everything else was good!
Great location, though we were a bit lost as we exited wrongly from the HSR line. Ended up having to circle around the station which took a bit of time. The elevator that would bring us up from the train station to the street was out of order, so we all had to carry our heavy luggages up and down the long flights of stairs. Just bad luck on the timing.

CanadaFrom outside the building we could find absolutely no signage that the hotel was located there. We asked someone on the street who confirmed we had the correct address.

United KingdomIt should really include access to a hotel breakfast. Also, we originally paid more for a view of Taipei 101, but went to a cheaper room without that view which ended up being nicer.
Hotel is centrally located opposite the main station, with lots of food options nearby. There’s a lounge with free coffee and a place to store food and eat. They also arranged for a nice day tour with a lovely guide named Eda

SingaporeAs the hotel is in a building shared with other tenants, it's not immediately obvious where to go. Pillows were a little uncomfortable and the bathroom didn't have hooks for the towels and clothes which is a bit weird.
Location is very good, the rooms are spacious and the laundry use is free which is a very nice gesture
