Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. United StatesUnfortunately both of our rooms had electrical issues related to the lights. One of the room was able to fix the light issues by removing the master card to reset. Another room - our bathroom light doesn’t turn off so we had to sleep through the night with the bathroom light on and because the door is semi-transparent it bothered us a little bit. Since we were extremely tired we were able to fall asleep anyway. It was too late to change room when we found out as our son was already in bed and we had settled in. Suggest: please check your lights .
Awesome location within walking distance to key tourist area in Beitou: MRT, thermal valley, museum, library, culture center! Great public hot spring spa! Very enjoyable! Breakfast has a good selection!

We did experience following issues: 1) Power (Electricity) cut off in one of (2) rooms (same issues as mention in one of other guest review), the technician came very quickly and show us how to reset, no further issue after that. 2) At (after mid) night, the sewer (drainage) system will make some sound and backflow (bubbling). Common issues if you live in old apartment before 3) (Common issues in hot spring places) Walls & ceiling with some spotty paint peeling, leakage (stain) sign, marks (mould) between few grouts between wall tiles in wet area. If you are expecting a spotless place, then you should conder other 5 stars and pay more for accommodation.

Few minutes walk away from the New Beitou metro station, very convenient to get to places via metro and buses. Room size was ok, but felt like the space was not very well utilised such that there's enough space to open luggages. Toilet/room does not havs enough space to hang towels as well. Room comes with private onsen which is great and relaxing.

Location is superb! Directly opposite the hot spring park, eateries and 5mins walk from the Newbeitou MRT. Hot spring water in the room is fantastic! Staff are efficient.

SingaporeThe toilets could be cleaner. There were stains on the toilet seat and cover when I first checked in, but it could be wiped off with a wet tissue. It's a small issue, but something to improve on for the future.
The private hot spring in the room was great, and so was the staff service during check-in and out. The attention shown by the staff during the breakfast buffet was equally great. Overall, it was an awesome stay at the Hot Spring Resort, and if I ever come by again to Beitou, I will be visiting again.

The personal hotspring tub in the room was an added bonus, so that we do not need to go to the public bath. It is near new beitou MRT station (5mins walk, luggage/wheel chair friendly path). Room size is big, clean and well kept. Bed was a king size bed.

PortugalOverall we felt the noise isolation was not the best as we could hear street noise even being on the 10th floor, also from the hotel itself. Also there was a problem in our room with the lights that kept going on and off during the night. that affected our stay but we also believe it was an isolated issue
