I think the pictures of the facilities and the rooms are a bit misleading and show a better overview of the place compared to reality. The structure would benefit a nice renovation. The room/sheets were ok cleaning, but probably due to the vicinity of the forest, some insects were around; I found a pack of candies I forgot on the shelf covered with ants. The staying was generally pleasant but kinda basic and I would recommend the place just if you dont have great expectations and if you are not looking “to be cuddled”.

The location is really close (3 mins walk) both to the bus stop and the pier which is definitely convenient. The staff was really nice. The breakfast was not breathtaking but still a nice plus.

The bathroom can get a little update; the hotel location is not too far from the bus station, but the path is not straight forward as you hope - be prepare to walk a slight hill.

The price was very reasonable, the staff was very friendly, all the basic necessities were present.

It is run by a family and it has this cosy feeling. Our room was quite big with a huge bathroom. Clean, nice view.

The location was fantastic! Very nicely situated near the harbour and close to cafes and restaurants as well as the bus stop onwards to Alishan. Basic rooms great for a short stay. Right near the start of the lake on a great bike path (many bike hire places in close vicinity).

too bad i got really bad bed bug bites in the morning in both legs. red clusters and super itchy ones 🥲 i don’t really want to blame the owners for not tending the beds, but it should have been better if owner AND guests are more attentive in maintaining, and be well-prepared for this issue particularly.

the property seems to be owned and prepared by a warm-hearted family (i think they live in first floor). we arrived a little earlier than check in time, and they let us in anyway. the room is great, some facilities like hairdryer, bathroom amenities, even breakfast was great. location also right in front of starting point from shuishe pier bike lane to xiangshan visitor center, and also right beside the yummy tea egg shop. they also provide ferry tickets in case you need one. we stayed for one night, and it would have been perfect stay…BUT!

Breakfast schedule is narrow (starts at 7am) and finishes early- 8.40am is last order.

Great location, tucked down a quiet street opposite to the bus stop, with the lake in front of the hotel- perfect for long bike rides and trail walks! Lovely, accommodating staff and very friendly, too. A wonderful, peaceful stay.

It was easy walking distance to Shuishe Pier and the restaurants/shops….including 7 Eleven. Rooms were clean and quite comfortable.

They don't have a great view of the lake. You need to access the hotel from a small street but all the taxi and Uber drivers know how to get around it.

The room was super spacious. It was nice and clean. The view is ok but not great. The staff was nice and friendly. The location is close to the market and bus station. Breakfast was great and you do need it as there are not many shops around there that will open so early in the morning.

Light switches were located in a weird spot but that's more of a personal preference.

The villa was located very close to the bus stop at the main pier. The room was lovely and spacious, the complementary breakfast was delicious!
