The environment is very clean, even the balcony floor is spotless enough to walk on barefoot. There is a comfortable couch that makes a great reading corner, and the water quality for bathing is pleasant. In particular, the bathroom is not completely enclosed, so if you are concerned about odors after use, you can use the one on the first floor instead.

The bathroom in the room we stayed is divided from the sleeping area by a lightweight paper partition that is open at the top and bottom. This setup may not provide full privacy for travelers who aren't well-acquainted, but it should be fine for a small family.

Check-in is available from 3 to 7 p.m. The room is very clean, with a modern, minimalist, and neat design. The shower has good water pressure. The most impressive part was the breakfast. It was amazing, both in presentation and taste! Plus, there’s a vegan option available.

I didn’t enjoy that I have to sign a paper at the check-in that allows the hotel to revocate immediately their accommodation, when guests are too noisy. It felt a bit suspicious and restrictive. But At the end it didn't really affect our stay at sun moon lake, and we still had a pleasant time!

The spontaneous upgrade of our room was very nice. Thank you! Also the staff was friendly and helpful! The room was spacious and we enjoyed the view from our balcony (blooming tree)! The lights of our room were very classy and we appreciated that! The breakfast was special and tasty!

Won’t be suited to those with mobility issues. It is open plan, including the bathroom. We didn’t have an issue with this however.

Lovely stay, with a Japanese-inspired concept. Very comfortable, well presented with generous space. Breakfast was wonderful. Location is good, easy, quick walk to the pier and local hotspots. Parking right outside, on request. Very lovely staff, highly attentive, friendly and full of local advice. Felt spoilt staying here.

Tap water is cold, it'll be good if it's a mixer tap especially when the weather outside is very chilly. Lack of clothes hanging area.

The accommodation has its unique deco, coziness and charm. The hosts are very friendly, thoughtful and helpful. Shower water pressure is good. Breakfast is served to your room - it has the hosts' unique and warm touch - different from what you get in classic Taiwanese breakfast offers. Location is near to 7-11 and varied eateries.

A great and scenic b&b styled accomodation with mountainside view. Staff was warm and hospitable. We had accidentally left some items behind and they kept them safe and secure for us until we were able to retrieve them again. Would absolutely stay again!

The staff were super welcoming and helpful. The room was very nice, clean and modern. The bed was comfortable. In-room breakfast is really tasty and they offer a vegetarian option, too. Great location. The facility is located in a residential building so there are some rules to be followed which, however, are reasonable and did not affect my stay at all. The reception area is super inviting with lots of cute touches. Communication was excellent.

Staff were friendly and responsive. Like the cosy ambiance of the lobby. It is also short walking distance to the nearest pier and is located to the convenience stalls and shops. Love their nutritious and yummy breakfast provided daily!

If you are looking for somewhere to stay in Sun Moon Lake then this is the best place! We loved everything. Our room was upgraded because it was our anniversary which was a really nice surprise 🥰 We had an amazing sleep, the bed is so comfortable and the room is so peaceful and spotless. Also the hotel interior is so stylish ✨ The breakfast was delivered to our room in the morning and it was delicious! The service is exceptional, the staff are so sweet and friendly and helped us a lot if we needed to book a taxi or we needed directions. They are also very thoughtful, for example the temperature at night dropped so they left a pot of boiling water outside our room. We loved all these little touches like this, which is what makes this place so special. Thank you Sun Moon Inn 💗

The beds, sofa etc are made low. It’s a style and very attractive but can be hard to clamber off in a hurry.

This is a gorgeous little property slightly off the tourist stretch. Done in concrete and blond wood largely, the reception and rooms are large and lovely. The streets are quiet at night but it’s a 7 min walk to the pier. I loved how pretty the place was, how clean and the fabulously friendly service. Breakfast was super yummy as well.

The hotel was so clean and cute! Also in a very convenient location near the bus station, lake, and many shops and restaurants. The service was excellent, and the breakfast was fabulous. It made for a very comfortable stay. Highly recommend!
