Not easy to find the lobby, as the hotel is inside a building. Lobby is on the 4th floor, and the entrance to approach elevator to the lobby is like to get in a residential building, so a little confused.

Room is big enough for one or two people. Although it locates on a main street but it is still quiet enough for a good sleep. Bathroom is a bit small but it is ok.

Not much complaints…. Maybe the ventilation in the bathroom can be enhanced a bit.. I guess due to the moisture after shower … there is a bit of bad smell in the morning next day ..

We’ve visited Taipei numerous times already , this hotel simply fits our needs. Location is perfect, easy to reach different area. Rooms are clean and have plenty of space for us. Staff members are nice as well.

the shower head holder was a bit faulty, it couldnt hold the shower head in place, i had to adjust the water pressure to prevent it from spraying water at the ceiling. the pillows are too soft, had to ask for an extra pillow for proper support.

Location wise, was a tad far from the MRT, but walkable to majority of the places i wanted to go to. The room i stayed in was spacious and clean, the beds were sufficiently firm, toilet clean and spacious, and there is a proper water dispenser outside for me to top up water. ample furniture for myself and spouse to lounge around in the room.

No toiletries like toothbrush, cotton pad/buds in the roo. You have to pick up these amenities at reception. And there's a sign that says it will be payable as from 01 Jan 2025. There were no slippers which was a bit of a disappointment since the flooring material isn't carpet.

We took the Standard Double room for our stay. It's like a cozy studio feel. There's a water dispenser in front of the lift, hot warm or cold. You also have a jug in the room if you don't want to go back and forth to get your water all the time. The breakfast area is quite cozy, they have an area for non-eating activities like reading.

The counter staff attitude is not very friendly and polite. They didn't show their friendly smile and behavior when we arrived.

The location is very good. The breakfast is simple but delicious especially porridge with many side dishes. Nice espresso. The counter staff helps me to call taxi, walk down to the door, the taxi had arrived less than 3 minutes. 2 MRT stations can be reached (Zhong Shan and Shuang Lian).

I wish this hotel is a bit closer to a MRT station, after a whole day of walking around Taipei, the short 6,7 minutes walk back to the hotel is not something we look forward to. Having said that, this hotel is very quiet at night and we were not disturbed by any traffic noise during our stay.

Excellent breakfast, freshly prepared meals with good quality, staff are tentative and courteous, room is clean, we enjoyed our week stay at this hotel.

The room size was a bit smaller than expected for 3 people. The bed is very hard/firm.

The breakfast buffet mainly showcased steamed buns, boiled pork sausages, stir-fried noodles and vegetables, three types of breads that could be toasted, ham, cheese, fruits and pickled veggies. Another egg dish option would be great. Only hard-boiled eggs were available during our stay. There was a couple of cereal options, as well as milk, coffee and juice. We liked that they had sustainable practices in place. The water fountain located on the landing of each floor (it gives both hot and cold water) was a great way to avoid offering bottled water in the rooms. You also request for bath amenities from the Reception, as they do not provide disposable amenities in the room. There were shampoo and shower gel in refillable containers inside the shower. The best bit is the Japanese toilet which had a heated seat! The Front Office staff were amazing. We requested assistance in booking a taxi for a day tour and it took no time at all to confirm. They also spoke English, probably the only ones in the hotel. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. Location was great and Uber drivers didn't have problems finding it. It was also a few minutes ride from the places we wanted to visit. 5 mins from Miniatures Museum of Taiwan 6 mins from Lin Dong Fang (beef noodle shop) 7 mins from Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial and Ningxia Night Market 11 mins from Ximending and Dihua Street 12 mins from Raohe Street Night Market and Shilin Night Market

Bathroom basin is detached and outside of the bathroom, but it’s probably due to the design and space concerns of the room

Rooms were clean and spacious. The kind staff helped us with the laundry when we didn’t know how to operate it. Housekeeping services were also great, overall a good experience and pleasant staff :)

Quite far away from mrt and if the stf can try to be more caring that will be great I was caught on the earthquake tremors but hotel staff didn't properly try to explain the situation and didnt care about how we go thru and didn't try to give assurance also.

The shower was difficult to use, and seemed to have been fitted with the wrong showerhead so it would only spray water perpendicular to the wall. Given the price of the hotel, I was surprised the unit had not been fitted properly.
