Great location with walking distance to the ferry port and Ita Shao market. We arrived late and the staff was helpful enough to pick us up at the Sun Moon Lake visitor centre (as this is located at the other side of the lake).

Breakfast was very limited and not delicious at all. I recommend to arrive early as no bus or ferry operating after 5pm. The staff doesn’t speak English at all so it’s hard to communicate for foreigners. The facility is quite old and smelly, quite expensive for the price (we stayed in one of the best rooms which costed us around 250AUD/night).

Friendly staff, the owner was super nice and very helpful. Excellent location, close to everything, free parking nearby after 3 pm. We arrived early, and parked our cars in the public parking of the harbor, it was quite expensive, imagine if we had to park there all day. The hotel is located at the busiest street of sun moon lake, lots of street food, shops, activities, and restaurants on site. Oddly, even in the busy street, we were not disturbed, the night was quiet. Lovely breakfast, cooked on sight. Plenty of choices from traditional taiwanese dishes to European style. Rooms are spacious. We were there for a family trip and booked 5 rooms across different categories, they were exactly as the description. Some rooms got amazing views on the lake, instant wow! I'll say it's the best value for your money.

Nothing really! Maybe a hand washing soap dispenser near the sink would be a good addition.

Best location on the sea front. We had two rooms with sea view. One on the 3rd and the penthouse on the 7th. Both with spectacular view. Rooms are nicely equipped and the glass ceiling in the penthouse is really something special. Breakfast made us happy. Landlady could not have been nicer.

Breakfast time only till 9am is a bit tight.

Parking a bit of a challenge. Had to wait for owner to lead us to where the offsite parking is. (Because we drove a bigger car, they took us on a tour of the town to find the right park.) Wasted a bit of time. View is nice, but you need to close the blinds as you can be seen from the outside.

Excelente hosts, and excelent Hotel. Highly recommend it.

Everything was great.

The place was very clean and conveniently close to everything. The shower was amazing—really strong and perfect for relaxing after a long day of walking.

I wish they had a little map or guide with recommendations for the best places to eat and visit, especially since I’m a foreigner. It would also be helpful to include ATM locations.

The location is perfect for arriving on the ferry and enjoying the area. The hotel staff were really friendly and helpful.

The hotel is very welcoming, the breakfast could have looked fresher, it looked like it had been out for some time and it was hard to know what was on offer. The offer for a freshly cooked egg was nice. The place looks a bit tired in places and could do with a bit of a refresh. In hindsight I think the price was a bit high.

Great help from Vivienne who assisted us in choosing places to visit and arranging tickets for us. Great location right on the waterfront and right amongst the night market scene. Great breakfast prepared and presented by very friendly staff. Would be very pleased to return.

I found no negatives for this hotel.

Convenient location

Rooms were old. No bath tubs like it was shown in the pictures. AC was hot. The smell was bad. The sink is old almost break.

We booked the top floor Lakeview so we got full view of the lake. Clean in general however dated in areas like light switches, power outlets, an especially dated lobby. Very warm staff which makes up the good experience.

The proprietors and staff were very friendly and helpful. All three main proprietors were happy to answer my questions regarding sightseeing logistics, and even proactively gave me more advice. Language wise, the bosses have limited English, but my rusty Mandarin seemed sufficient. They have one staff who can translate if needed! We stayed in one of their Lake View 4 Person Rooms - we took the pink one (502), while our friends had the blue/darker one (503). Both have 2x queen sized beds, a mini fridge, and small closet. Ample bedding, towels, bottle water provided. Room 503 seems to have been renovated more recently and was more "fresh" than 502. Bathroom wise, showers were strong and hot. There was counter space (and a cupboard under the sink) in the bathroom of Room 503, but not in Room 502. We were there during the Apr 2024 earthquake, and the building and furnishings inside were safe and well secured. Will consider staying again in the future.
