Entry is through a busy bicycle hire shop. Payment in cash only. Young shop assistants took our payment and showed us the room but didn’t give us much information. Need translation app to communicate. One side of the bed is against the wall making it hard to get in and out.

Great position, very close to the jetties. Close to cafes and restaurants. Has a nice balcony with views over the lake. Comfortable bed. Good sized room with a kettle, small fridge and a small table and chairs.

The shower temperature was difficult to adjust, making it either extremely hot or cold. Also the boys from the bicycle store down are not very friendly. For car parking, you need to use the public parking that costs 350 TWD per day.

There is not heat so when the temperature dips, it is a little chilly in the room. However, the duvet was more than enough to keep me warm.

the family that runs this guest house, and the staff who work in the bicycle shop on the ground floor, could not have been nicer. We had a language barrier but they went out of their way to help me. The room was great - big bed. The shower could use an update but the rest of the room looked new.

Great location with a view of beautiful Sun Moon Lake from the 6th floor. We also had a balcony to sit and have coffee and breakfast which we picked up at the nearby 7-11 with the breakfast vouchers (included in the rental cost). The couple who owned this place was extremely helpful and friendly, despite the language barrier. We would have liked to have stayed longer to explore the area more, if we had more time. Thank you both for your kind hospitality!

It was hard to adjust the shower temperature, either super heated or tepid, not much in between. The soap was pretty harsh & overly fragranced, definitely not hypoallergenic. Restaurants in Shuishe close at 8pm, so make sure you go out to eat early or you end up eating fried chicken on the wharf, lol. The fridge is linked to the key card so it doesn’t stay cold when you are out of the room.

The host was very friendly & helpful. Shuishe is not very large, so room was convenient to the cycle trail and port. The vouchers for the 7-11 for breakfast were handy, they also gave us some fresh papaya and bananas. Gave us a voucher for bike rental and boat ride discounts. Balcony was really nice to sit on in the evening, and good to watch the sunrise.

The location and view from the balcony. Value for money. As the place is a homestay and above a bike hire shop the host was waiting out on the street for us to arrive to make sure we found the place. He would bring us fresh fruit each day. He secured us discounted boat tickets and even walked down to the dock and waited with us for the boat to arrive. Exceptional service from both him and his wife, made us feel so welcome and comfortable.

Amazing view from the balcony on the lake and mountains. The hotel has very convenient location: it is close to the Shuishe port (where you can take boat), to the bus station, to bikes rental store, to the convenient stores, and other restaurants. Also every day we received fresh fruits from the host. The host is very nice and funny.

It was almost perfect, except for small things like the quilt on the bed, a bit too narrow for the bed size. Also, tea and coffee were provided, but there were only two paper cups to use.

The place is perfectly located in the town, just next to the lake bank. The room was clean and we had a nice view over Sun Moon Lake. The owner was so good to share with us a box of fresh pineapple, one of the best we ever had.

The location is really great! It’s right by the pier and you can easily get to the lake. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The host was very friendly and nice. He gave a lot of really great information. We were only two people and there was only a quadruple room available but we still got 4 bottles of water and there was plenty of space in the room. The Wi-Fi worked great in the room as well They also rent bikes on the first floor for 200 TWD a day, though you should double check the bikes you get and make sure the brakes work and tires have air. Took us a few bikes to find working ones.

Location of the Homestay was quiet nice - central but elevated so you are in the center but it is not that nosy. Especially the view over the lake as well as the balcony were fantastic. Its simple but given the price good value. On top the host offers a vast range of tips and activeties one can pursue - which is really really helpful in case you need it.

No name in english, no signage, difficult to find even using google map. Not accept any credit cards and easy cards. To pay by cash only.

Room size is vety big and clean. At balcony able to see the lake partially but ok. Walking from bus station not so far. Overall is acceptable. An owner is vey friendly.

Nothing it was perfect!

Great stay close to everything! It was a few minutes walk from the bus stop and across the street from the pier. Lots of restaurants close by as well. Papa was very sweet and helpful despite not knowing a lot of English. He helped us rent bikes and gave us discounted boat tickets. We were also able to check in early and leave our luggage there for a few hours after checking out. Highly recommended!

Mosquito visit when sleeping. Went for 2 stores of 7-11 to redeem breakfast coupon but unable to do so. Both 7-11 said they are not the selected one for redemption.

The owner of the homestay is very friendly and give us opinion on where should we go and selling us the boat ticket with cheaper price. Location Strategically.

The only thing good is the location. Other than that everything was far below expectation. Room and bed was dusty. It's above a bicycle rental shop at busy street so quite noisy. The most unacceptable thing was, in booking Com website it mentioned breakfast included, but upon checked in boss gave us a 60 twd 7-11 eleven voucher per pax, asked us to redeem our breakfast there.

The price is high due to the location and the view one can see from the top. Other than that, the room was alright. Not particular beautiful or modern.

The location is the best. It’s very close to the Shui She pier and the Main Street of shops. Easy to rent bicycles downstairs The view was the nice. The host was friendly and helpful.
