We noticed there was quite lot of dust in the hotel rooms - esp on top. Also the carpet has seen better days. Price of the hotel restaurant.

The property is a nice hotel in the area - quite pricey with pricey breakfast, lunch and dinner. The rooms are pretty good - little dated but spacious, lot of cupboard space, great bathroom, nice attention to details like small tea cups, complimentary drinks, nice cosmetics. The spring water bath in the room is actually also pretty good as one has a privacy. The balcony has nice view into the forest. Hotel has game room, outdoor pool which was unfortunately closed due to rain. Overall, we would come stay again - the service was good. Although we were not allowed to early check in on the day, the hotel staff was very accommodating and nice.

If appropriate I would like to recommend that the set-food can be offered to replace the buffet for the breakfast.

This hotel is suitable for leisure & business trip; especially there's bus stop, located very close to this hotel. Of course the Sun-Moon Lake is quite famous not only domestically, but also abroad. The weather is nice and it's kind of blessing that the breeze flows over your face while immersing the quietness of forest.

The staff at check in when we arrived at 7-8pm on Tuesday evening 18 Feb - the heavily made up girl was rude. She rolled her eyes when I don’t understand her and she had to repeat herself. That is the only thing that spoil my stay.

The rooms were amazingly clean . Heated toilet seat. The water from tap is spring water.

They didn't provide many of the amenities such as tooth brushes or combs as you would find in similarly priced hotels. There are free snacks and drinks in the fridge.

The room was spacious and well furnished. The hot springs bath tub is spacious and can even sit up to 4. There is a pool outside, but it is winter time so we didn't get a chance to swim.

The fitness room stank of cigarette smoke. This is not what one would want to breathe whilst doing exercise.

I don't think the hot spring is really hot spring water, but felt more like just hot tap water. The room bath and toilet was divided by just a curtain, perhaps not so suitable for those who need more privacy in the bath. The room design seemed a lil outdated as well.

We opted for the half board option including dinner & breakfast. Quality is not the best but it is decent with good variety of food. Service from the restaurant was also very thoughtful. Our room came with a private bath which was great to be away from the cold in the public pool.

The security, cleanness of room, location, weather and environment are good enough for vacation and work. Especially this hotel is very close to Sun-Moon Lake and mountain pathway; nice spot for refreshing your brain cells.

- Breakfast was terrible. Despite the premises being relatively empty when I arrived, I was seated in a very cramped corner with the sun shining in our faces for most of the time, They did offer us the option to change tables, but by then we were already finishing. Also very limited food choices, especially for my children who prefer a Western menu (I guess for non-Asian guests also). - I booked a family suite. However, the bathroom/toilet cannot be locked from the inside. This caused some anxiety when family members of the opposite sex were changing/using the bathroom/toilet.

- About 5 minutes' walk to the main road/shops. The pier is also within walking distance. - The room I booked was spacious and comfortable. - Staff are flexible to grant requests that are outside of their hotel rules.

The breakfast and the dinner were included in the room charge. But the food choice was limited.

I prefer taking the hot spring bath inside the room and the room was very spacious. Not only did I enjoy the bath inside, I could also enjoy the steaming room facility. The room also accommodates a central heating service. Very good!
