Everything was great

Our best accommodation in Taiwan. Clean, comfortable and well-equipped room. However, the biggest advantage of this B&B is a fantastic host who made sure that our stay was excellent. Upon arrival she welcomed us with tea and sweets and during our entire stay helped us plan our time by sharing tips and recommendations. Whether it's bus timetables or hiking trails, she really knows the area inside out! Thanks for being such a great host!

Despite having getting a bedroom upgrade, the bedroom had no windows. Also there was no breakfast possibility.

The person at the reception was very friendly and helpful. We also got a bedroom upgrade which was great.

Owner was very accommodating our late arrival time and even surprised us with a room upgrade! Well-located, place smells of tea when enters. Convenience water refill next to elevator on each floor. Small room on 4th floor to take a video call while my friend is sleeping.

Excellent hospitality! The host was incredibly helpful, giving us recommendations for the area. We even had a snafu the day we left where Google Maps had the wrong bus schedule, and she went above and beyond helping us find and book a taxi to take us to the HSR station early the next morning. The place itself was even better than pictured; large and spacious, all new and modern finishings, and very clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

we reserved a room that was without windows so it felt clastrophobic. it was not mentioned on booking that this type of room was witout windows. Also it was not possible to get breakfast in the hotel

the romm was spacious, clean and nicely decorated. parking not too far from the hotel. the owner helped us planing our first day and welcomed us with lovely tea.

Was greeted by the enthusiastic b&b owner with a nice cup of warm tea, she was a one woman powerhouse, charming and full of helpful suggestions. This place is 30 seconds away from the shuishe visitor centre, with plenty of food and bike rental options. Definitely will come back for future visits

The host was so warm and hospitable, and she was bursting with ideas and helpful tips. The room was large and very spacious - there were 4 beds so each of us had one, and there were two bathrooms. Surprisingly, they also cleaned our room every day. Location of the B n B is along a busy street so you're not stuck for food options unlike some other hotels. Although there is no lake view, the lake is literally 1 minute's walk away and the bike rentals are also next door. Of especial mention, we forgot some clothes and shoes, and the host very kindly arranged to ship them to our next hotel at her own cost. A truly good host makes all the difference.

I highly recommend staying here for your sun, moon, lake vacation! I was greeted warmly by the staff and offered a sample of their delicious tea. The lovely lady at the front desk showed me my room (which was upgraded for free) and did a full tour of all the amenities. She made me feel right at home. And the bed was very comfortable! She even sent me some restaurant recommendations via WhatsApp which were amazing! The hotel is also right outside the bus station and very close to a lot of the attractions! I wish I could’ve stayed longer! The hospitality was impeccable! 5+++ stars!

I really enjoyed staying at this property. The thing I loved most about it was the smell of tea when leaving and entering through the tea shop on the ground floor (which belongs to the same owner). Sets the mood for the day! :) I also liked that it was centrally located within short walking distance to everything (restaurant, bus stop to Taichung, two 7/11), yet a bit away from the crowds on the quieter end of the road. It also felt more private as I did not see many other guests which I liked. The room itself was my first ever without a window (this I knew in advance) but it was so well-designed with large reflecting marble tiles and lighting as well as glass that it did not feel claustrophobic at all, instead it felt like staying in a luxurious safe deposit room in a bank. :D Small touches like towels, tissues and - most of all - the tea station made it perfect. Staff was also available the few times I needed and very helpful. Thank you!

There was absolutely nothing to complain about.

It was very comfortable, the whole place smelled of Tea. The hostess was beyond welcoming and made this stay 10/10. I got “stranded” there for an extra few days because of a typhoon and she made sure I was okey and kept me updated on the situation. Would really recommend! You will not be disappointed.

The owner was so lovely and accommodating when we arrived. We got to try some of the teas and bought some souvenirs home. The accomodation is very close to everything we needed. The bus stop, restaurants and a couple of 7-elevens were within short walking distance. We were lucky to get an upgrade on our room and the bed was very comfortable. Highly recommend.

Amazing welcome by the lovely owner who helped with everything we needed and provided all information and suggestion on things to do in the area. The accommodation was perfect and had everything needed. Comfortable bed, large clean and new room. Amazing value for money would definitely stay here again

Host is very nice and helpful. Self checkin was easy. They provide soap and shampoo of 茶籽堂 Cha Tzu Tang which I fell in love with and they sell it at the reception in the shop at very good price. Tub was perfect to relax.
