How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The location is very convenient – right next to NTUH MRT Station and about a 10–15 minute walk to Taipei Main Station. I have stayed here twice in a twin room, and both rooms were quite small. The first stay was fine, but the second room had a strange smell (possibly damp or mold), which made me feel uncomfortable after one night.

Room was quite noisy owing to a gap under the door, but nothing otherwise.
Very friendly staff, great location and good value for money. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Location is very central and easy to access from Taipei main station.

The room was quite small, with transparent doors in the toilet and shower, which is not very convenient when traveling with a colleague rather than a family member. There was also no soap at the sink, so we had to take shower gel from the shower and use it as soap.
The hotel was located near a park and just a 10-minute walk from the train station, metro and shopping center. The room was clean and had a good Wi-Fi connection. Bottled water was available at the reception at any time.

I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. When researching accommodations for our 2-night stay in Taipei, I had a difficult time deciding (at our price point) what to book as reviews are hit and miss throughout the city: small rooms, cleanliness, etc. Our room on the 8th floor was small but spacious at the same time. we had enough places to put our luggage, hang thing, etc. Everything was very clean and modern and one of the best showers of all my accommodations on my month-long trip in SE Asia. They give you free water bottles of water anytime you need it, although I think it would be much better if they just had a water filler in the lobby. It is located right next to Peace Park and an MRT stop.

Location : far from ximending and taipei main station Amenities: no iron Size: room is quite small for the price per night
Staff : there is one short hair lady with glasses. I forgot her name, she was really accommodating and helpful. Clean: very clean location: near to NTU Hospital train station exit 4 and also museums. View:got the room with presenditiol and ntu building view which was so nice

The solution of translucent toilet/bathroom and these cabins wall are halfway. Hence, steam and smell may spread all around the room. Much insects round the room even though the room was cold with good air con. Some floors have a very humid and sewage smell. Be sure to change the room. It's very unpleasant to stay in. Hall way carpet was dirty/dusty. Bed wall was dusty.
Clean room at one glanced, spacious, electrical toilet and pluss, staffs were very helpful and considerate, they make sure the room fit to your request and understood some deliemma due to translucent shower and toilet, hence make extra effort to explain.

The off site breakfast. We had breakfast included. But due to renovations the hotel used another provider for breakfast. It was an eight minute walk away. Lucky we didn’t encounter rain. And the breakfast they provided wasn’t very good. Only tea, coffee, no juice . And eating options was a muffin, wrap and sandwiches. Small portions.
Great location, room was a good size, Bathroom was excellent Friendly and helpful staff. Bottled water was available all day.

The shower room is a little too compact.
The location of the hotel is closed to Taipei Main Station. Surrounded by many convenient stores and breakfast spot that make the trip easier. Check in process is seamless and the team were also helpful. Unlimited bottled water whenever you need it (you must get it your self at the lobby).

Amenities were not provided due to circumstances which was unfortunate
Location is so close to Ximending, has great connection to other parts of Taipei. Has good local breakfast spots within minutes walk of the hotel. Room was comfortable, heated toilet seats, spacious shower and bath! Definitely recommend
