Air con was loud but it worked well. They give you ear plugs if needed in the room.

The room was large. No carpet. Fridge with proper separate compartment for ice creams. Very clean. 2 bottles of water everyday. Bed and fresh towels everyday. Window with natural light and also opens. I kept window closed because it was so hot and humid in July. Power points everywhere. A bidet. Comfortable bed. Air con was loud but I was really thankful it was strong as outside was often 30 or deg C and humid at night! They provided snack chips. Short walk to Ximen MRT. Lots of Restuarants nearby. Staff super helpful and friendly. Can use laundry at sister hotel 5 mins walk away but I decided not to. Check in self check in and very easy but you need a local number for some reason. I had one as I got a traveller SIM at Taoyuan International on arrival. I’d stay here again for sure even for work if I could. Good value for money!

The location is accessible to the MRT station and night market. They clean the room and change the towels every day.

There was only one mirror in the room - in the restroom. Suggest to put at least one more mirror outside, like on the dresser / walls.

Location was great! Just 2-3 min walk to main Ximemding area. Plenty of food places nearby to check out. Convenience stores right downstairs across the street. Easy to get in touch with the staff though this was not the main branch - they do reply quickly. There is also an intercom at the main door downstairs.

Got a little moldy walls near the right side of the bed.

Good location, plenty of food to choose from nearby. Got free washing machine to use, but only at the Ximen Branch which luckily is only a 5 minute walk away.

Only complaint is that the room was very bright at night!

Very friendly and helpful staff, also appreciated the shared lounge where we were able to eat dinner with had delivered to the hotel. The room was decently sized and had a desk.

When they cleaned my room , they took out the trash, and replaced everything else, but the bottles of water weren't restocked. Not sure if it wasn't their thing, or the staff forgot.

This is the Self Check-in and Out outlet, so there isn't really a waiting area if you wanna wait to check in, if you need to you could leave your luggage or wait at their other outlet (which is just around the corner, less than 5 mins walk) . Perfect location if you wanna be near the attractions without the noise. Decent amount of supper spots. Handful of Family marts opposite the hotel and around it. Room is spacious and clean. Staffs are really helpful and friendly too.

Altho I had minor issue re the cigarette smell - I was amazed how the staff immediately resolved my issue. This is beyon my expectation and truly grateful for the excellent service.

Staffs are super friendly and highly attentive to details. Place was just few meters away from ximending night market- eveything you possibly need is reachable and accesible

The best location for Taipei. So easy to walk to local neighbourhoods for great night markets, and very continently located to get the MRT around the city. Also fantastic location for when you come in from the airport on the fast train.

This is the annex hotel - so a small flyer or booklet with a few more information about the hotel, options and suggestions. I had to write a lot of messages to get the info. Like where’s the laundry and the rules. Just to make it a little easier to navigate without having to ask about small stuff But really did enjoy my stay

I enjoyed my stay at Funstay Inn Chengdu Easy to communicate with :) Booked hotel / airport transportation through the hotel - super easy. Very clean hotel and neat room. Love that it had a Japanese toilet and fridge with a small freezer. Very good location with a short walk to Ximen MTR It’s next to a busy road but the windows block out all sound. So quite peaceful. Close to food, shopping, laundry and what else you might need. I would gladly book again ** Be aware that there are two separat buildings for the same hotel, when you book**

The aircon was really cold. We adjusted to 25 Deg and were still freezing. We did all we could, louvre the vents, hid under the duvet. Aircon is better than no Aircon. The other issue we had was the water drainage in the shower area. After one shower, water flows so slowly that if I have guppies, they can swim in the water. So we had to space out our bathing time after a long day out. Once, I got impatient and I lifted the drainage cover and spotted a drain stopper, upon lifting the stopper, water, the water flowed speedily. It all boils down to house keeping. If they scrub the stopper well, water will flow.

We like that it is easy to find. Alot of good eats around it. It's a safe street to walk even at night. There is a family mart near to the hotel. The room is not big but we're small in build. it's more cozy than cramped. We needed a 3 bedder that is not a converted sofa, so Funstay fits our requirement. Our room faces away from the main road, so there is minimal road noise. Mineral bottles were provided, there's also a water dispenser for you to fill your bottles. Convenient and environmentally friendly. Toilet is clean, flushes well with toilet paper. It is equipped with a bidet too! Not much entertainment except TV. Good selection of channels. It's a good room if u just need a place to sleep and rest. Clean and quiet, convenient and modern. We stayed for 6 peaceful nights.

No it was perfect

I’m really satisfied with the experience during our stay especially the staff was quite friendly. It's located in the heart of the city and is close to a subway station and a bus stop. There are also plenty of restaurants, bars, and shops nearby.

The room was quite small so would only recommend for a couple of nights at most when you know you’ll be out and about. Although there was a window it didn’t open all the way so felt a little bit claustrophobic if that kind of thing bothers you. It’s not fully soundproof and there were lots of building type sounds through the night.

Great location, room has everything you need. Good value for money for this location which is walking distance to everything you need. Very close to the other fun stay which has more communal facilities and shared amenity like luggage storage and laundry machines.

Impossible to find using Google maps it took me over an hour of going back and forth between places before I found their other branch and a staff member had to walk me to the place. There was also no staff to contact about trying to find the location of how to check in. They should have clearer instructions on how to check-in in the messages

there is no reception, so no one to speek with, and everything takes a long time. we didn't have a place to pu our bags after check out so we have to go to a different branch of the company aftewith the suitcases. The room is small, no place for 2 suitcases

Strange bookings are made on the credit card that were supposedly canceled but are still there a month later. The staff tell you that this booking, which is also made by another company, is for security reasons and that you should contact your bank if you have any problems. Of course, nobody needs that on vacation: problems with your credit card that you have to chase after. We have already made more than a hundred bookings with Booking.com and have never had such strange charges. If we had known this beforehand, we would certainly have chosen a different hotel.
