If it weren't for our Taiwanese-speaking friend calling the hotel and finding out how to pay, I would not have known what to do... or about the different codes for different doors as there was no one in the office.

Needs a lamp or some more diffuse lighting than bright overhead lights. (for those that like to read in bed while others sleep)

Location excellent, quiet yet near the.lake & markets. Coffee maker, little refrigerator. Hot shower. Good communication with host. Huge outdoor community outdoor space with gentle lighting, above ground level.

There is no lift.

Location is perfect, parking is just right in front. The property is new, water is hot and good pressure. There were discount coupons where we used it to rent the bicycles, the housekeeper replenished fresh towel and bottles of water. Be prepared to pay them cash only.

Great place with great amenities. The place was super comfortable and clean. Better than expected! Location is great too! Few meters walk to the Ita Thao Night Market.

No breakfast. Location is very good. Ita Thao market is about 5 mins walk away. Room is very clean and spacious with television and hair dryer. Comfortable beds. Need to install LINE App so that owner can text door codes to you for self-check in. Easy to check-in and check-out. E-bike and bicycle rental is just downstairs and as guest of Zhen House, you get TWN50 off. E-bike is TWN350 for the day unlimited time. Guests of Zhen House pay TWN300.

Very friendly owner and staff =) Couldn't find any nearby stays with a room having a bathtub with this affordable room price. Worth the money. Very convenient, just a minute walking distance around the corner to 伊達邵. Will come back again next time.

Would have been great if breakfast was included as there isn't much breakfast options around the small town and it was raining the morning we were there. But wouldn't complain for the price we paid for.

It's a self check-in property. Communication with host was straight forward and easy. They were pretty responsive as well. There was a big bath tub in the toilet as well, which our children enjoyed very much. The room was overall very clean and comfortable.

The hostel don't provided breakfast and not lift in the hostel.

The host are friendly and allow us to keep the luggage at their hostel before check in. The bathroom is quite big and have a bathtub inside the room. Due to the hotel only accept cash or bank transfer so we need pre-informed the host to keep your booking through Line. And we haven't make any payment and late check in after the tour. The host allow us to stay without paying the booking and we just pay the hotel after 2nd day of staying. The night view of the hotel are amazing and you can relax at the balcony area.

It is a self-checkin property. Communication is through the Line app. If it weren’t for our tour guide, it would have been such a hassle to download the app jus to receive instructions from owner to check in. Definitely not non-Taiwanese tourists-friendly. Also, although we knew there was no lift and we have to carry up our luggages (we only knew we were on 3rd floor upon arrival) each floor of steps is quite high. Luckily my family all men. Apart from the 2 Family Mart (or was it 7-11?)nearby, there’s nowhere near to eat a proper meal.

Good value for money for sure. it’s the only ‘hotel’ I could find 3 double beds in a room for my family of 5. Very pretty grounds with their many IG-worthy fairylights-lit tipis and tents to hang with your group. Hotel room is clean, beds are comfy and bathrooms have all the necessary amenities. We were instructed to leave our payment in the room on the last day and lock up when we leave.
