I stayed Friday and Saturday night and there was pretty much 0 social atmosphere as a solo traveller if that’s what you’re looking for.

Very clean and comfortable hostel. Decent location 10 minutes walk from the MRT in a cool area of town. Great showers and immaculately clean.

-most anti-social hostel I have been so far -nothing for solo-travelers (people there do not want to talk to strangers & the hostel staff also does not offer much for socializing)

The single thing that I can say that I didn’t like was that there was hair in the drains in all the women’s showers, which made some of them difficult to drain. other than this, everything was perfect.

The location of the hostel is awesome, five minutes from all the action in Ximending! I did a tour through the hostel which was also really good, the tour guide (PC) was super friendly and knowledgeable. The beds were also probably the most comfortable hostel beds I’ve ever stayed in lol.

I loved this hostel. It's social if you want it to be but not a party hostel. The beds are so comfortable and the showers and general facilities are great. I loved the communal area and the staff were so helpful with great English. The hostel put on some outings every now and again - I did a cycling evening tour which was great! I can't recommend this hostel highly enough. One of the best I've been too.

This is not a major problem at all, but I would highly recommend getting some extension cords for the common area, as when it was busy, it was often difficult to find a place to charge devices. This was nothing major though and everything else was absolutely fantastic.

STAFF: All the staff were amazing and happy to assist with any questions. BED/DORM: The bedding in the dorms was extremely comfortable, definitely higher in quality than what I'd otherwise expect for a hostel. The dorm only had four beds, so it felt very private and I got to know the other people in my dorm well. COMMON AREA: This had a lot of space to spread out and meet other guests, as well as a kitchen and laundry area. LOCATION: I loved the location, it was a short walk to the nearest MRT station, which can get you anywhere in the city, as well as to other stations that can take you out of Taipei. There were also plentiful food and shopping options all a short walk away.

Value for money didn’t feel too great; the room had no windows and would’ve been cramped for 3 ppl (it was a triple room and there were 2 of us). Rooftop, at least during our stay, was quite unlike the photos (a few hard benches and tables) – felt a bit like a missed opportunity.

I felt so comfortable staying there. It was not in my plan at first but due to Typhoon hit Tainan, unfortunately I have to cancel my trip to Tainan and stayed at Taipei. Luckily I found one of the best hostels that I stayed. The staff is so friendly and helpful. Hostel clean and tidy. I will come again next time in my next Taipei trip.

Staff was helpful, the facilities were great for travelers, but also really nice for someone who just missed the last train home. Even though I was in a room with other people I had plenty of privacy and access to a bathroom whenever I needed it.

There was too much noise in the rooms, bad smell and some of the facilities, like the elevator, are subpar.

The bottom bunk beds are almost on the floor which made it feel less private if people came in late since my bed was also the closest to the door. The bed was a bit damp and the mattress had a small stain on it but overall clean enough. There’s no space to hang your towel somewhere tho if you don’t want it to overlap with the person on the other bed of the bunk bed. I also saw a cockroach in the common room. Luckily , the dorms didn’t have any.

The hostel is very social. There’s a lot of opportunities to connect with other travellers but the rooms are relatively quiet so that’s nice. There’s a lot of facilities available like a washing machine and one of the best common areas I’ve seen in a hostel. It is quite close to a nearby metro station so that’s handy. Their staff are also friendly and accommodating and helpful if you need any recommendations. I forgot something in my room when checking out and they let me search for it even after I checked out.
