Very well set up for diving and other beach activities. I booked a Discover Scuba activity there and had a great experience with a lovely instructor. The bunks were clean, cosy and comfortable. However, I found the staff a bit unwelcoming. Other guests weren't as social as I was expecting either. There was also a lot of noisy construction happening on the second floor, where the dorms are (as of late March 2025). For my fellow vegetarians/vegans - 'Shiba and Luma' around the corner was really good! There wasn't too much else in easy walking distance though.

Good location, nice vibe generally, very nice bathrooms and the beds have fully closeable curtains.

Extremely loud construction work starting 8am. We thought we could follow the island vibe and sleep in after multiple short nights in the cities of Taiwan and the extreme noise was a very unpleasant surprise. This is very disrespectful to the guests. Other than that, the lady who checked us in seemed rather unprofessional, couldn't find our booking, couldn't give change after paying and did not do a good job explaining the facilities. The Wifi is unstable to the point it's unusable. I think this place could be great but our personal experience was very disappointing and we left after one night.

This hostel is perfect for solo travellers and especially group of friends. The staff is very friendly and kind !! Beds are really comfy and I really like the intimacy you can have in your capsule bed. The room is perfect for your group of friends (we were 8). It's small but you do have a good time either inside the room or on this crazy nice net they have (I loved it)

The room can get super hot and you don't have lockers and space to put your luggage.

Absolutely everything! The staff are very friendly! The dorms and common areas are really comfy, very clean (esp. for a place where people come in and out directly from the beach), and very well designed. It’s also the perfect place to stay if you plan on going diving, either by yourself or with the hostel staff. All the facilities for post-diving are in place, you can take diving lessons and the diving gear can be rented.

They keep the hostel and the shared space clean. It seems easy to apply to make some diving. You can go there by walking from the port and also rent easily a scooter not very far from it. It’s outside the city but not too far.

The double bed was two separate single beds.

    Very clean.

Noisy until 22:30 pm because under the bedroom is some common area where people do drink and talk and play music.all the shower and toilet is downstairs so you have to meet a lot of people on the way there.

It's a great stay if you're doing scuba diving.

The shared dorm was rather humid. If one is simply looking for a night stay there should be other options.

Great vibes, free towel per day, super clean, super friendly staff, we liked it that much, that we extended our stay for 3 more nights. Discover Scuba Diving was a great first experience. They helped us a lot to get a good first perfect impression of the ocean.

Everyone was super friendly and helpful. We got a room for the 7 of us although we could only book 2 different rooms on booking. Seems like they let you only select 5 beds per room via booking. The location is awesome just 6 minutes to a great beach and the downtown. The common area was great so nice to sit there and relax or eat! Also nice sitting downstairs chatting with the people of the hostel. We could store our luggage after the check out. They provide towels to use in the hostel. Showers were super nice. They have a microwave, tons of tea and coffee and Lunchboxes and cups to use. Dishwashing facilities. Free use of aircon, dehuminifier and fan in each room. The beds all have a curtain so it's like havingyour own room with privacy. There are tons of spaces where yoU can clean the sand off your clothes and let them try.

Just a few minor things: -The rooms were quite small for 8 people. While the beds were super nice and comfy there was no space besides the beds to store your stuff if you don't wanna block the way for the others to get through. Only on the bed or in a tiny little locker next to each bed(just for key and a small wallet.) -Unfortunately guests are not allowed to use the many diving gears unless they take part in the hostel's diving activities (fair enough just thought might be good to know). -The curtains are quite loud when opening or closing. -Toilets and showers are downstairs while the sleeping is upstairs:/

Very nicely located in the main village, restaurants, scooter rentals, etc. in walking distance + nice common area for relaxation + very clean, floor is cleaned several times a day

    - container walls don't absorb any sound, so can be kinda loud inside the rooms in the morning, loud music starts around 8am - stuff friendly, but gave false information about ferry (didn't seem very up-to-date)
