Good location, great staff, laundry machines available, easy access.

I had to kill a roach a day in my room, but that doesn't bother me much. There was some mold visible along the bathroom baseboards.

- Spacious room, no window as it was an internal room, but this was ok for me for a short stay. - Firm and comfortable mattress with a mini fridge that worked and a nice couch. - Clean communal couch area near the reception offering luggage storage, free snacks, hot and cold filtered water, breakfast (bread and spreads) , congee/ soup, juices and tea, which you can help yourself to at specific times. - Excellent location. Close to Ningxia Night market, with Px Mart nearby, 7/11 and Family Mart just across the road. Good access to public transport and buses.

While I was pleasantly surprised at how nice my room initially was, there were a few things that would deter me from booking this place again as well as recommending to others. On my 2nd night, the couple next door were having a very loud domestic argument at 12:30am. Screaming and sounded like things breaking in the room. This continued for several minutes until I complained to staff. The staff were obviously aware that something was happening due to the proximity of the room to the front desk. You cannot miss the screaming and crying from the girl in the room. However, they did not do anything until a complaint was raised. The staff member didn't speak much English, but tried to communicate with the guest after knocking on their door several times. He was ignored for about 10 mins until they eventually opened the door to which the staff member had typed a message for the man to read. This resolved the issue, as it seemed the man had left after slamming the door. I definitely thought about calling the police as it did not seem safe. However, I was glad that swift action was taken by staff. Some of the reviews noted they had found roaches in their rooms. I took the risk of booking this place, hoping that this would have been rectified, but the reviews never lie ! I noted a roach on my 3rd day. I reported this to the staff who were kindly able to organise a room swap. The new room, however, was not available until 11 am the next day, which was fine. However, there seemed to be a miscommunication between the overnight staff and the dayshift staff as I was advised to vacate and clear out my room by 11am and the new room would be available for me to get into. They then said after 11am, so I returned at 12:30pm expecting to check in to the new room, the dayshift woman said that the room still wasn't actually available at all until after 5 p.m as a guest was staying longer than expected.

The misleading room that has a window that gave view on a wall 20 cm away. They made us pay 200 NTD more for no reason. There was no real sunlight getting through it. Staff doesn't smile nor speak English very well. Checkin time was 5 PM, so late! Checkout time was 11 AM and when asking for an extension to 12 PM, they ask 200 NTD per hour.

Having to leave your key if you wanted stuff cleaned retc in your room. I didn't leave mine I just went to the cleaner direct.e

Good water pressure in the shower, friendly staff and very big room with refrigerator. It is close to the Station and markets, so you can easily walk around. 7/11 and familymart are on the other side of the road.

Cockroaches in the room, old/not up to date rooms, weird smell (maybe because of no windows), very thin walls so you can hear your neighbor snore, and concert EVERY DAY next door.

The staff were accommodating and friendly The place had a good location. There is family mart and 7/11 in front of the property There is a bus stop in front of the property The Tran station, the night market and shopping area were all walking distance from the property. The hotel was very clean and the place was spacious decent and had good beds The hotel also served free snacks and drinks in breakfast and in the afternoon.

The checkin time was 5 pm. But the staff was very kind to allow us to check in earlier.

Pros: big rooms, 2 double beds. Good area to stay in. Staff moved our room straight away when there was an issue. Free bottle water. Clean.

Cons: Grotty - not in a dirty sense more just run down and a bit grim. Not aesthetically pleasing. Rock hard bed. Bathroom was a bit leaky. Room with window was very noisy from outside traffic. Can hear everyone in corridor and neighbouring rooms - bring earplugs. Water started pouring from light fixture outside room which was dangerous. Location is between stations, so at least 12mins walk to either.

Great location for the price. Close to many local restaurants and convenience stores. Walkable distance to the metro station (10-15mins) that will take you to the airport and most places in Taipei/ Taiwan

Not super clean, but not horrible. Hard to dry things due to no window and lack of ventilation so my towels were typically still damp after use. Great to have laundry service in building, but the dryer took much longer than recommended time (took about 2 hrs to have clothes actually dry after filling half the dryer)

Room was below some food place so it had some weird smells during the late night. The aircon definitely could be abit better since there is no window so it took a while for it to cool down.
