I had to kill a roach a day in my room, but that doesn't bother me much. There was some mold visible along the bathroom baseboards.

While I was pleasantly surprised at how nice my room initially was, there were a few things that would deter me from booking this place again as well as recommending to others. On my 2nd night, the couple next door were having a very loud domestic argument at 12:30am. Screaming and sounded like things breaking in the room. This continued for several minutes until I complained to staff. The staff were obviously aware that something was happening due to the proximity of the room to the front desk. You cannot miss the screaming and crying from the girl in the room. However, they did not do anything until a complaint was raised. The staff member didn't speak much English, but tried to communicate with the guest after knocking on their door several times. He was ignored for about 10 mins until they eventually opened the door to which the staff member had typed a message for the man to read. This resolved the issue, as it seemed the man had left after slamming the door. I definitely thought about calling the police as it did not seem safe. However, I was glad that swift action was taken by staff. Some of the reviews noted they had found roaches in their rooms. I took the risk of booking this place, hoping that this would have been rectified, but the reviews never lie ! I noted a roach on my 3rd day. I reported this to the staff who were kindly able to organise a room swap. The new room, however, was not available until 11 am the next day, which was fine. However, there seemed to be a miscommunication between the overnight staff and the dayshift staff as I was advised to vacate and clear out my room by 11am and the new room would be available for me to get into. They then said after 11am, so I returned at 12:30pm expecting to check in to the new room, the dayshift woman said that the room still wasn't actually available at all until after 5 p.m as a guest was staying longer than expected.

- Spacious room, no window as it was an internal room, but this was ok for me for a short stay. - Firm and comfortable mattress with a mini fridge that worked and a nice couch. - Clean communal couch area near the reception offering luggage storage, free snacks, hot and cold filtered water, breakfast (bread and spreads) , congee/ soup, juices and tea, which you can help yourself to at specific times. - Excellent location. Close to Ningxia Night market, with Px Mart nearby, 7/11 and Family Mart just across the road. Good access to public transport and buses.

Not super clean, but not horrible. Hard to dry things due to no window and lack of ventilation so my towels were typically still damp after use. Great to have laundry service in building, but the dryer took much longer than recommended time (took about 2 hrs to have clothes actually dry after filling half the dryer)

Great location for the price. Close to many local restaurants and convenience stores. Walkable distance to the metro station (10-15mins) that will take you to the airport and most places in Taipei/ Taiwan

Room was below some food place so it had some weird smells during the late night. The aircon definitely could be abit better since there is no window so it took a while for it to cool down.

We ended up booking an extra night because the hourly rate for a later checkout costed more than a single night. They told us we could leave the luggage in the lobby otherwise, but completely unattended and everyone could access it.

There are some breakfast items available, in a first come first serve basis. If you wake up early you might get a packed snack.

Signboard was slightly hard to find on day 1. Building a bit dark at night.

* It is absolutely not worth the money... The first room had an horrible smell and we felt uncomfortable in it. (But thank you for finding a solution afterwards). * It seems like that they renewed the room, but the bathroom was just horrible (old yellowish bathtub, mouldy tiles,...) Again for a very low price it would be acceptable but not for that price. * No window, no natural light, no air flowing. (It is indicated in some room features, but even when it's not indicated, it doesn't have a window neither) * It's located in a very very old "mall" building which gives a weird impression at first... * People were making noise late at night and you can hear everything from your room (it was in the weekend).

* The staff was very nice and helpful, they changed our room trying to find solutions. * The lobby looked nice * The hotel is well located, close to the main station which is convenient for the airport or visiting the city. * Bedding was clean.

The misleading room that has a window that gave view on a wall 20 cm away. They made us pay 200 NTD more for no reason. There was no real sunlight getting through it. Staff doesn't smile nor speak English very well. Checkin time was 5 PM, so late! Checkout time was 11 AM and when asking for an extension to 12 PM, they ask 200 NTD per hour.

Cockroaches in the room, old/not up to date rooms, weird smell (maybe because of no windows), very thin walls so you can hear your neighbor snore, and concert EVERY DAY next door.

Good water pressure in the shower, friendly staff and very big room with refrigerator. It is close to the Station and markets, so you can easily walk around. 7/11 and familymart are on the other side of the road.
