Beautiful and peaceful location! Very friendly staff. Breakfast was fabulous, and they made it early for us on request.

Very nice and relaxing, despite the sandal thing.

We had to leave our shoes outside the room, i guess for sanitary purpose, step into the paper sandals provided and then switch to another pair of sandals to use the bathroom. A bit inconvenient switching back and forth. I would recommend bringing your own sandals to the place. Switching between the paper sandals in the room and the plastic sandals in the bathroom can be a pain, and more pain if you want to go in and out of the cottage often and had to tie shoe laces everytime you put on your shoes. There was only one pair of plastic sandals in the bathroom. Two pairs would be nice.

We were surprised by the sound of geese and sight of goats upon arrival. I guess it was a FARM after all! There were even a few rabits running all over the place, and you woke up to a cacaphony of bird sounds. Despite we being the only guests at the place, breakfast was set up for us, and we had our fill. The place was a bit off road and situated on a slightly rolling hill. Not difficult to find with Google Map. Drive to old town was less than 10 minutes. We were surprised with a street-long night market the first night we went out. It only happened twice a week during this season, we were told. We drove to 日月潭 the next day (45 minutes away) before returning for the night. We met the owner as we were ready to leave, chatted for a few moments before hitting the road. Very nice guy! Love the place!
