Check-in could have been faster, warmer & served with a smile. The male staff (I didnt catch his name) was almost rude when he told me he couldn't see my confirmation number on my paper but it was right there at the top right hand corner! This doesn't help guests who are tired from travelling and arriving late at night wanting to rest. My father was tired and shivering!

A bit far from the train station, 0.5km away. There are 2 construction sites around the hotel however the noise level is manageable.

The hotel is clean and spacious. The manager Leo Huang is helpful and attentive.

I understand the design concept and have no complaints but there was no working desk in the room and the sofa is not comfy.

The room is clean and satisfying. The food stalls at the basement provide good variety of choices. The bathroom facilities is excellent, bedding is clean and tidy. The staffs are very helpful.

Not much to complain about to be honest, there was just 1 time (within the 6 nights) that a used coffee mug was not replaced with a new one so we only had 1 clean cup that night. But other than that 1x occurrence, nothing to complain about!

A great selection for breakfast and amazing other restaurants to explore within the premises. Staff were very friendly and kind, also helpful when needed assistance.

No room service during Monday and Tuesday, and there was a construction going on next door so was a little bit noise. No bathrobe in the bathroom.

The service was great especially with the service manager Kenny, I had a little surgery done and needed to ice it and he was really helpful of getting the ice cube for me.

Water splashed outside the basin and have a wet bench after using. I believe the wrong size of tap has been installed for the bath. Please refer photo up loaded. The “leather” cover on hand rails in the lift are peeling off already.

Great location; next to a shopping mall, short walking distance to MRT and bus stops. Hotel is very new, everything is working and nice to have USB chargers on both sides of the bed. Staffs were friendly and helpful. Good selections of breakfast, big size room and great sound proof.

View of a building site from the room Lack of coffee machine (advertised tea/coffee maker is in fact a kettle with American coffee supplied, unlike in the much cheaper and truly exceptional Indigo in Kaohsiung, where a Nespresso machine is provided) Breakfast room is large, and has a canteen feel. No table service, all is buffet-based. Not many healthier options. Hot buffet food was cold. Staff at breakfast removed our full cups and some food from the table while we were serving ourselves at the breakfast buffet (despite having left the provided sign on the table showing that we were getting food), and were generally too quick to want to remove plates while we were eating. No glasses supplied in room, none supplied at the bar when we asked, but reception did provide some for us. We had come from a week’s stay at the Indigo in Kaohsiung, which was genuinely exceptional, so may be judging unfairly but we immediately felt disappointed with the hotel for the price. At over 300 Eur a night, we felt that there were some basics lacking. Taipei is obviously more expensive than Kaohsiung, but we have had better stays in Taipei for less. It is not a bad hotel by any means, simply very over-priced. Staff although polite, did not manage to provide a personal feel to the hotel or to the service. Again, if the hotel had been cheaper, we would not have had this feeling.

The Wi-Fi can only work with my phone but not with my laptop. I have used my laptop to connect to many different public Wi-Fi and hotel networks without any problem. There is no suitable working place for me in the room and if there is a clock to help me to keep track of time would be helpful.

The room is clean and comfortable. The location of the hotel is nearby the mall and MRT. The staff are friendly. The breakfast is also good.
