How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

This is a really nice place to stay to visit Hengchun and Kenting NP area: the b&b has very nice and modern facilities (the lobby has a really comfy space to have breakfast or get some coffee, you can even leave your own food in the fridge), it is well located (in a quiet area, walking distance to the main streets, with lots of places to eat), they offer bikes to go around the town and if you travel by car, there is also space to park just outside the building. The room is big enough for two people and comfortable, we had a good rest. One thing we really appreciated was (despite the language barrier) the constant effort from the people in charge of the place to help and make you feel comfortable during your stay, really recommended!

I like everything they have!
Breakfast is included and everyday the staff will ask you tick whatever you need. The breakfast is the local Taiwan food and the 蛋餅 is just so good. I want to sincerely thank the lady who gave me fruits every day since it was extremely hot during my stay. She not only washed and cut the fruit into small pieces. On my day of check-out, she even put the mangos into a little plastic box which is so convenient for me to eat on my way to the next stop. The staff are warm and welcoming.

Very clean large well appointed rooms. Very large bathroom area and good water pressure. Washing machine and dryer a bonus. Welcomed with a delicious serving of fresh mango. Absolutely recommend this gem of a place and will definitely stay there again.

This is a clean, comfortable, and well run place. It has a kitchen and comfortable seating area dedicated to guests. Everything worked perfectly including wifi and shower. They were very responsive to our questions and requests. We opted out of breakfast so we can’t comment on that.

It’s really clean and comfortable and the owner was very nice. Bathroom was a good size and very clean. 2 hairdryers was great to have. Each floor has a washing machine and dryer which was great. The room was so quiet with no noise from the outside getting in. It’s very close to a 7-11 or PX mart but about 15 minutes to the beach by Taxi.

They given a breakfast ticket to customer for the breakfast, but the amont of money in the ticket is not enough to have little better breakfast per person.

The breakfast setup should either be changed or dropped altogether. Uneatable food does not improve if it is made available at 7:30 am regardless when you want to eat it.
Nice rooms, laundry accessible including free detergents.

Communication with staff at the reception was very bad,nobody speaks english.did not understand the breakfast menu,long absurd communication

shower head was not clean !!! the rest of the room however was spotless
nice modern place, really nice staff. no englisch bit really good with the google translator 😅 coffee was free and with self service in the reception area. Breakfast is with pre order and it was really good 👍

Staff didn't want me to pay with card first, saying that I need to transfer etc I'm assuming is cos they don't want to pay the transaction fee but Das really not my problem lol Staff also sprayed me with alchol which seems totally unnecessary
