Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

FranceThe restaurants were almost never open. There is a kind of mall close to the hotel (you can access easily by the hotel) with shops, bars and restaurants but they were almost always closed so better go to the city to get some food or have some fun or do shopping
The hotel is huge as anyone said before. The swimming pool is one of the best and big I’ve had experienced in a hotel. The rooms are very big and the bed also which is very nice. The market and restaurants in the city are not so far if you’re ok with walking like 10/15’ We really had a nice stay in this place and the children loved it (we have teenagers and they loved it) The laundry is a plus

United Arab EmiratesThe hotel is very large and large sections are run down and not used. Breakfast has no Western option. Waterpark is good value but also very run down.
Convenience of the resort, Starbucks, waterpark, swimming pool, links to the beach. Rooms were big, my daughter really liked the family room with soft toys.

Canadawhy do you need to “check out”. they made us wait 22 minutes in line to be given a receipt similar to 7-11. not an invoice which I can just be emailed. left feeling angry instead of a good mood. no hotels make you “check out” anymore. just leave keys in room and go. they wouldn’t let us and said we were required to wait. so weird.
so beautiful! pay for the sea view. pool is exceptional and tons to do on and around the property. we used the Ubikes out front. breakfast was amazing too. loved the buffet.

Taiwan1. This bay is beautiful, but please note that the water gets deep just five or six steps from the shore. It's very different from the flat expanse of Fulong Beach. Therefore, first-time visitors, especially children, should be cautious and pay attention to safety. 2. The exterior walls of the building (the inside facade of the eye-shape building) should be repainted. It looks a bit old. 3. The swimming pools has 2 sections--- 50 cm and 130 cm in depth. It is a awkward design for my son --- he just learns how to swim but is 145 cm high. It will be perfect if the swimming pool is 110 cm in depth or there is a 70 cm one. 4. The restaurants in the basements are not so attractive. The starbucks closes very early. 5. To attract tourists, there may have been some stalls and signs et al in some floors. However, please make the style consistent. Otherwise, from the beautiful hotel atrium, the variety of fonts and advertisements doesn't look very pleasant.
This is a five-star hotel, and everything is quite good, although I anticipate a more colorful breakfast. The room is very spacious, and my son is really excited. We were pleasantly surprised to have a great view of Mount Dajian, the symbol of Kenting, right outside our room on the fourth floor. The swimming pool is clean.

SwedenThe complex is somewhat dated however that didnt mean much.
The proximity to service stores and the nightmarket was great. The hotel complex is HUGE, owever, when asked for rides in and out of the hotel, to save the energy of our 4-year old, the hotel complied. We could also borrow a stroller without additional cost which helped us greatly. The pool is amazing and made our kids be very hapy. It is also very close to the beach which was greta for morning and evening dips. There are 2 hotel complexes next to eachother and in the basement there is a huge mall with many activities for kids.

United KingdomInstructions to find the right lifts were a little confusing!
Huge hotel! Great room, comfy beds, large bathroom and balcony. Air conditioning worked very well and when we worked out how to find our way around the hotel found it was easy to get to the beach. There is also a water park on site in the basement. Turtles in pools and the staff give you rides to the entrance in a golf cart. Breakfast definitely closes by 10. 5 mins walk to town centre and bus stops right outside for further exploring. The pool is very big. It was a bit cool when we went but the weather was hot so it could have been the difference.

United KingdomIt's hard to know where to start. The hotel is massive - I mean you can get properly lost in it and we did, a lot. The lifts only service certain floors at certain areas. On many occassions the lift opened to leave us staring at new areas and people with beards mumbling about sending for help. It has its own rifle ranges and archery area - indoors. Many bars, shops, amusements, restuarants, pool, table tennis, a gym. A huge swimming pool. Just imagine a really big hotel, then double it a few times. The pool was great (if a little cold), the private beach accessed through a labyrinth of undercover passages was very nice. It has every facility known to man kind. It has a sort of faded glory, and it appeared largely empty. When full it probably resembles a small city. It was good value, the 4th floor room cavernous and clean, the staff very friendly. The kids loved it. Short walk from the Kenting main drag. There is a starbucks next door if that is your thing. Did I mention it was massive?

TaiwanMy child loved the indoor water park! The hotel is very old, but clean and comfortable enough for the price. One down side was that we had to walk a very long way to get drinking water because half the water dispensers in the hotel were out of order at the time of our stay.

CanadaThe indoor pool and water park were closed during the off-season.
We stayed at this hotel in December, and it was great! The resort is massive. Our room was huge, with three big, comfy beds—perfect for our group of five. The private balcony overlooking the garden was a bonus. The outdoor pool was super big, and we had it all to ourselves because it was winter. That made it even better. The resort also has access to a small beach. The water was calm and clean, which was perfect for the kids to swim. The breakfast buffet was amazing—definitely one of the highlights of our stay! The food was super tasty, and the selection was huge. They had everything from traditional Taiwanese breakfast to western foods.
